WW2 Polish Cavalry ................. Cavalry, helmeted.................CivColored Cavalry

Thank you for two thousand great units, for all your efforts and time, and for your art.

2000! Simply amazing! With an amazing unit to boot. And out of all people, Goldflash guessed it! I wonder what Goldflash wins for his guess?

I still think your older Polish Calvary was terrific, this one is even better! Congrats and Thanks to you Wyrmshadow for all your great work! And Ares also for the magnificent sound work you have contributed.

Happy 2000th unit Anniversary !!!!!!!!!! They ride again - improved gallop and fitting cavalry man's posture - also seems to have lost some weight over the past few years (and this time I didn't fall for a necroed thread) =)

Oh wait, I win something? I'm pretty sure the only thing I won was the preview, and we all won that. And it wasn't a guess, it was an educated guess. Wyrmshadow said it was both an old and popular unit. I was looking through Wyrmshadow's unit and saw that the original Polish Cavalry was A) over six years old, and B) had over one thousand downloads in the database alone.

It is a fantastic unit, Wyrmshadow, and I will probably vote for it in the monthly competition, but its legs still move reaaaaaaly weird.

The other clue I gave was that it was a biological unit. Also, this was the first civ unit I posted on CFC when I 'came back' from CDG and started reposting here.

I also plan on doing a few more versions of this with minor differences so you can get some variety of period cav troops from this era.

BIG ,BIG congrats for doing all of this. :king:
I already left a good amount of praise about your work here on the forum. But making a right comment to a 2K unit is very hard. Maybe 2.000 times thank you dude is OK ?

Congratulations, Mr Wyrm! :) It's really special!

A little assistance for EN speakers:
Spoiler :
For English speakers who didn't bother to translate words from the banner:
(top) The God - The Pride - The Motherland
(bot) For your & our Freedom

Actually it's
God, Honor, Fatherland

&

For Your Freedom and Ours.

It's all in how you order the sentence in English.

Absolutely beautiful creation Wyrm. Congrats on your 2000th unit.

Thanks for all of your contributions over the years. Your units are in every scenario on my hard drive for C3C and they make up a good 80%-90% of the units in each scenario.

You have successfully created enough units to cover many time periods, genres, and unit types. There is something for everyone in your collection.

There was a minor problem in the default and fidget animations but I fixed it. So if you've already downloaded it, do it again for both.

It will a great idea to create similar units for USSR and Germany. They also used cavalry. Many people think that Polish were some how backward and they even had to use cavalry to attack tanks. That's not real I suppose. Cavalry was also used by Red army, Germany used it (my grandmother saw them in BelarusianSSR during WW2).

P.s. thank you for your work.
