Huge, Huge win for the Pats today.
I hope they crush the Pack next week.
So, da Bears. Can we call them a fraud yet or do we have to wait until next week if the Skins manage to pull a win out of Shanahan's butt?
That will never happen. Right now, Green Bay has enough talent to go up by 10 points then lose on a last second field goal to anyone in the country.

...Too bad Denver couldn't hold on to their late game lead and gave the Jets a free pass with a def pass int.
Green Bay just has massive injury problems right now. That will never happen. Right now, Green Bay has enough talent to go up by 10 points then lose on a last second field goal to anyone in the country.

I think the plan by that point was to let the Jets score with 70 seconds left so that the Broncos could march down the field and TD.Well, the Broncos can't run the football at all , and rely only on a lucky Kyle Orton and his WR's to put some points on the board. I couldn't watch the game, was that really a def pass interference?
That hit by Merriweather was cheap and dangerous. It was just one of many head to heads this weekend. Rodney Harrison was saying prior to the Colts game that all players put away 50k before the season just to pay for fines. It makes sense that the NFL should look to suspend players for intentional head to head hits. Meriweather is from The U and a protege of Harrison. I like him as a playmaker but he is a dirty player and I would agree he should ne suspended for bush league shots like he laid on Heap.True. But Merryweather better get a nice big fine from the NFL. That helmet-to-helmet hit on Todd Heap was downright scary. I was actually pretty amazed that Heap came back into the game after that...
And if the Pats meet the Ravens in the playoffs they'd better get Dan Koppen some help on Haloti Ngata. Just about every time the Ravens got a big defensive play it seemed that Ngata was right in the made.
I'm not really sure. I only saw the replays, it looked like the receiver fell down on his own, but Sanchez delivered the ball in the numbers of the player sitting on the ground and the defender facemasked him. Calling def pass int in the endzone with less than a minute on that play is kinda iffy, the facemask would be 15 but not the 33 and ball on the goalline.Well, the Broncos can't run the football at all , and rely only on a lucky Kyle Orton and his WR's to put some points on the board. Favre still hasn't shown he still can lead his team to a W. He almost did it last Monday but he was terrible yesterday against the Cowboys. The Packers would probably have trouble running against the Vikings even if Grant weren't injured, but they have a great passing game and a good defense.Well GB has zero run game, but then again, Minny's Cornerbacks suck right now so their pass game will work.
But if Minny's O-line can manage to not Epic Fail, I can see the Vikings with a solid win against the Pack.
Yes. The receiver's face mask was clearly grabbed.I couldn't watch the game, was that really a def pass interference?

It looks like the matchups favor the Packers, that is unless Favre suddenly stops sucking.
