2012 Civ5 S&LP Awards, Anyone? NOMINATIONS

So the idea is for the people of this Subforum to vote on the best thread in one of 3 categories:

Lets Play
Story
Interactive Game

To be eligible, a thread will have to be nominated and have been created or updated at least once between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012.

So, nominate away for contestants! More will come on the actual winner selection process later.

Also, I am trying to think of a good name for these awards besides "2012 Civ5 S&LP Awards." Perhaps the GaP Award of Excellence, after the amazing GaP IAAR- widely regarded as an example of the best this subforum has to offer. Do you hav suggestions?

I guess it would be best for it to be in the story category.It is now a history book style, so I guess that would be the closest category we could get.

Hmm, for LPs... I'll nominate The Pilgrim's "Deity sub 200 turn science victory attemtp". Its old and Vanilla, but it was still memorable in the way he did it.

And because I'm not allowed to nominate Maltz's stuff like "7 Deity AIs vs 1 Human"... I'll go with Realyn's "Random map/civ on Deity" which had all kinds of sprawling huge Deity runaways run down by the player with all kinds of stuff. Mostly essbees. Again, its from Vanilla, but those were the days

Third Lastly but definitely not finally, I would also submit Islandia's "To infinity and beyond! Islandia's Mayan Immortal Infinite City Sprawl Adventure " for its entertaining showcase of ICS strategem and how absurdly well the Mayans as a civilization benefit from doing it

But the one that will have a special place in my heart... would be our dear KoreanPrez's very own attempt at Eternal War CiV Edition - "Into the Future". May it be everlasting into the murky, nuclear-blasted depths of 2032 and beyond!
