3.13 - Game crashes after start up.

In my case, none of my Civ4 installations were to custom locations. I accepted all the defaults. So the patch should have had no problems.

this is not the *only* problem with the patch and apparently there are some issues with it we cannot yet pinpoint
Something seems to prevent it from installing correctly on your machine, the problem is figuring out what it is without knowing for sure what the patch .exe tries to do...

This is frustrating... had to revert to 3.03 just to play. I want the bug fixes

Any ideas?
