I am also very excited to start. This will be my first MP game other than a few attempts on GameSpy(which might as well not count since they never got going far before everyone left), and a couple of teams versus the AI. Time to see how I stack up against some others!

Did Excelsi ever get/play? Not to sound impatient, but this initial turn can't take but about 2 minutes to play even if you sit and think about it for a while. It's been 4 days and we haven't gotten through a complete turn yet?

Hehe, Kemal99 just responded to "if its to late" i mailed him, that if Excelsi, don't show up, he will get the chance. here's what he/she wrote

"Hello,
I am afraid I missed this game already, right? If so, I understand ... its my fault. If not, I would like to join ... and I promise to play fluently.

Sorry for failing to communicate recently. I was kinda busy in other activities.
Anyway, good luck in your game!"

So if they will be now activity, Kemal is back in.

Yeah i did :/ and emailed him, as im sure boroberts sent his savegame aswell

and wrote to Kemal, to make sure he checks his emails regularly, and said he must check in here if he was serious enough, and he didn't either.

Guess we gonna make a fast replay, without them.

Okay, no reply from either Kemal nor Excelsi, so ive taken the initiative to contact an xfire friend of mine, to join, he is new to the game, but nonetheless can fill in for Excelsi/Kemal.

I just wrote to Diamond, since its been awhile he checked in, i think it would be a good thing to let people know that one is alive, until first round is taken. Either to me by mail (since its my game) or here at the forum.

People need to be more consistent to play and report in, for it can demoralise players to give up on the game. Though i take my responsibility to make sure that people ain't forgotten.

The First round is the essential one for confirmation. Well. A player should take over Excelsi at least

Sorry, I'm completely confused here - probably my fault for starting a numer of new games in quick succession.

If I look at the opening post and the game order, I'm followed by BobRoberts.
I have his email address (something involving alastair...), and I previously sent the save to him.

After BobRoberts is Excelsi, who I gather has disappeared, and to be replaced by Kemal99 again.

So I would think BobRoberts needs to send his save to Kemal99 now ?

However, I just received a request to resend my save to Kemal99 ?

I'm missing something.... I also haven't sent it yet, until I'm sure....
