3 farms now instead of 2?

In the past when I researched Feudalism, the voice said that if 2 farms were adjacent, there would be a bonus. Now it appears that it takes 3. Is that correct? Does farming rice or wheat count as one of the 3?

It is 3 farms so as long as it is a farm when you hover your mouse over the tile it counts. A plantation is not a farm but you know that anyway I imagine. Just being clear for anyone else that reads.

It still takes 2 adjacent farms to the one that is being increased.... so a triangle of farms is the perfect design, still works just like before the patch.

You can say it two ways: A farm gets +1 food for every two adjacent farms, or when three farms are adjacent to each other, they all get +1 food.

Basically, farms get a +0.5 food adjacency bonus from other farms, rounded down (like all +0.5 adjacency bonuses).

To combine everything into one statement: The game still works the same. They just changed the text in the description.

Another way to put it (the way it actually appears in the database) is that the bonus to an individual farm is +1 for every 2 adjacent farms. It's actually the same exact bonus structure as you'd get for a Holy Site next to Woods. It's just that in this case the item being placed is the same type as the items being placed next to.
