Chief Bede Joseph sat his spotted war pony in the mountains above Cattraugus and surveyed the realm. His vision emcompassed many troops of mounted warriors and mace wielders playing lacrosse in the hills and bocce on the plains, bowstrings slack, ponies fat, maces rusting in the humid air from the marshes.....
A large black fly spotted a juicy landing spot in a white spot on the pony's rump and dropped in for a quick bite, the pony bolted and Chief Bede wailed a war cry, the idle warriors quickly caught their ponies and strung their bows and so began the Second French and Indian war.....
In short order the French town of Besancon near the indigo plantations was reduced to rubble, Dijon was held by Iroquois warriors and maces and the formerly idle troops were marching into the environs of Amiens where they encountered Dad's samurai and a Japanese settler. An Iroquois settler quickly hustled to the rubble of Besancon and built a new town while another settler hurried out of Kauwaka to claim land envied by the Mongols.
The many colored coats avaibale for sale in the bazaars of the homeland made the people happy, though Dad was highly annoyed at the brazen display of fashion during war-time and left the territory.
Not long after the last two French towns visible on the home island fell to the advancing Iroquois.
During the parades and parties which followed the swift victories (complete by 600AD) the trespassing Aztecs had the temerity to demand a delivery of silk cloth. When the ambassador's arrow aerated remains arrived at their capitol wrapped in purple silk, Monte declared war and sent a Jaguar and settler accompanied by muskets into the northlands. The muskets were quickly eliminated by trebuchet rush produced out of the northern cities and knight attacks. Then, to his horror, Chief Bede noticed the smokestacks sprouting from the Aztec town and the rifles in the garrison.
An Aztec cavlaryman galloped out of the town and attacked Ganogeh killing a newly knighted warrior but was killed during his attempt to retreat back to Tula. Knights, maces and trebuchets then marched on Tula from Oka and are now positioned on the hills above the town.
A luxury trade with Dad expired just at the right time and he is supporting our war against the Aztecs for silks and gems. The treasury has been depleted by the need to upgrade warriors to knights, the rushed production of trebuchets and an increase in science spending to acquire Gunpowder.
The Forbidden Palace completed right on time and the western lands are becoming more lucrative.
The single knight army is positioned at Oil Springs as the Aztecs have a galleon parked offshore of Susquehanna.
