Yes I'm a Rovers fan but unfourtuatly we dont get many EPL games over here (not even MLS:saiyan: ) To get all of the games it costs around $30 per week.
I have to respectfully disagree with cracker's idea of it being a mod-invoked privilege. Two reasons:
(1) there are a lot of good posters that probably slip under the radar...just because someone is boring or doesn't draw attention to themselves or do anything special doesn't mean they don't deserve an avatar.
(2) the mods will have one more thing to manage (no make that two). the first is folks complaining that they deserve an avatar, because the rule is subjective, and secondly you have new hoards of brown-nosers going for the quick pic.
One of the ways to keep people coming back to the board is to give them an identity...avatars do that. They make people feel *special*. I think a 300 limit is reasonable, because it requires a significant investment in time to get there (the mods are pretty good at making sure we don't get there via spam).
