where can i get the basic model for civ 4

i know this may be a dumb question,. but i am new to modding

This is the wrong place for this sort of thing. Questions should go in the main C&C forum.
But as you're here, use this program to unpack all of the files that end in .pak. These are in Civilization 4 directory, under Assets. They contain all of the art files. You can store the 'unpaked' files wherever you want.
