Max 3 day limit please. This tourney took way too long.

Shame Bath didnt feel like having a go against the dragon. I've been playing around with a few different lines lately.

Yes, I definitely am feeling without any ooomph at the moment.

Had a bad couple of months at work, and chess feels like a slog.

I could probably do with a holiday before starting another competition,
especially at three days per move.

Well vacations are up to the user (premium members have 60 days a year I think & regular members have 30), I definitely won't disallow vacation use for the tourney.

I was thinking about the tournament structure. Maybe this year we should have two sections - amateur & advanced (I don't really like those titles, feel free to suggest better ones). People could choose to enter either one (unless your rating is say, over 2000, then you have to play in the top section).

Was wondering about group size too. Would be kind of fun to have groups of 7 or 8 instead of 5, that way players who don't advance get more games. Of course it might be overwhelming for some players (even I've gotten used to only a few games at a time). I wish chess.com allowed for non-elimination tournaments so players who lose early & still continue on but that doesn't seem possible without Swiss style rounds that can go on forever (a la our QueenAlice tourney which lasted almost two years IIRC).
