I don't really think it's wise for me to, the floor is indeed open.

(I think) a fairly easy one.

Which Soviet port handled the most Lend Lease cargo?

Ooooh, I know this, it's on the tip of my tongue.
I know it's up near Poljiarny, near Bear Island.

Sorry, no.

Oh, you got it.

If I could remember the last time I read USS Ulysses it could have help

Murmansk is also incorrect.

Arkhangelsk was one of the main ones, as well as a southern routing through Iran. and then there was also the alaska to russia route. American pilots would fly planes to alaska and then be flown from there to russia

Vladivostok.

Yep. Primarily because the SU was not at war with Japan, so there was no
interdiction problems there for ships flying the Soviet flag (i.e. all ships
plying between the West Coast of the US an Vladivostok).

Both weather and German inderdiction caused the Murmansk-Archengelsk convoys to
be suspended at times.

IIRC the biggest single source of Lend Lease was the Iran route, but the port was in
Iran, not the SU. Hence the phrasing of the question.

Your question, CL.

Hudson are you a WW2 vetern ?
cause that would explain a lot

What was the only operational German bomber with 4 engines?

And I don't mean the Condor - that was a civilian design pressed into military service.

Nope, I just like the period. I'm around half a century too young to be a vetran ;)

Absolutely what I had in mind Adler. Apparently a lot of 'em caught fire in midflight - not a nice thing to happen when you're carrying tons of high explosive.

Your question sir!
