Works for me, if nothing else it should liven up the end game. I wouldn't ally anybody in though, we want to be able to make it a quickie.

Only danger is if somehow France gets roped into a war and we have to deal with them somehow.

I don't know how much military you've built up.
 
Sounds OK, someone else must be in Modern Age, for the Incans to be trading their aluminium to someone else, (where is the viking Aluminium?)
 
They are trading it to the Babylonians, who apparently have none of their own. The only agreement I will do is a ROP with the Inca, and I will keep the borders blocked. Our military is like the IDF, small, well-trained and armed wiith the best weapons available.

Turn 3 1515 AD: Check the map for Aluminum, the Vikings have one, I am tempted to war with them to obtain this critical resource, as they are useless compared to everyone else. The Inca are at war with them anyway. Just some short-term fun. Consult the team, get 2 okays, that’s a majority.
Purchase a ROP from the Inca for 70 gold, they go from annoyed to polite.
Ring up Ragnar and give him the good news, we are now at war!
Move 3 MAs next door to Karasjok.

Turn 5, 1525 AD: This time, an MA at Bodo defeats a veteran Rifle losing 2 hp, and retreats from a rMusket. Second MA takes out that rMusket, losing 3 hp, and the final MA takes out and an rMusket clean and I raze Bodo for 1 slave.
Notice a slave jackpot, 5 Viking Settler pairs.

Turn 7, 1535AD: Notice the hard way, cultural expansion has taken our Iron colny. Call up the offending civ(Hittites) and play lets make a deal.
We trade Electronics for Iron, WM, 23 gpt and 40 gold.
Attitude goes from furious to annoyed.
Police Station gains us 16 Beakers from scientists.
Grab slave back. Kill the offending cavalry with MI, who goes elite.

I will try to finish this war quickly and lock down the Vikings as insurance.
Upgrade all Tanks but one.
Buy a ROP from Babylon for 50 gold.
Move troops toward Bergen.

IBT: Vikings move a few units, as do Ottoman, nothing threatening.
Nuclear Power arrives, next is Satellites.

Turn 9, 1545 AD: Battle of Bergen:
vMA wins vs vRifle, -2hp. eMA wins vs rRifle, -2hp. eMA wins vs rRifle, -2hp, Bergen razed, net 4 slaves.
Battle of Reykjavik:

I recommend finishing the Internet, it should save 10 gpt in upkeep. Also, Police stations in all outlying cities can possibly wring a turn or 2 off the last 3 techs, the station in Novgorod turned 4cops into scientists. Maybe rush the police station in Yekatarinaburg and the offshore platfom in Yaroslav, then build one there, and start one after the Internet in Rostov. EVERY beaker counts.
 
I recommend finishing the Internet, it should save 10 gpt in upkeep.

Good call on the police stations. Not sure what I was or was not thinking in not building some of those.
 
Oh, and if we somehow need an iron source, there's one in the midst of our artillery blockade at our east. We should be able to spare a slave to colonize it.
 
I saw the Iron in our territory later. And I guess I have 'bill gates syndrome' wth the money, too much is never enough. Oh well, the trades made our enemies friendlier.

Got it, and I'll finish it off if we're 11 turns out. Probably can't conjure up 80 bpt though.

Likely playing time is the weekend sometime.
 
16 extra beakers per city. Suppose each city has Cope's, Newton's, a library, a university, and a research lab. That gives one 250% extra over base commerce. So, 16=2.5*x, thus x=32/5=6.4 extra commerce from squares. That comes as at least an extra 2 squares used in every city on average over 11 turns. Even without checking a save, I don't see that happening, and not every city has those improvements.

5 extra scientists in every city? Surely not.

Unless I've missed something, shaving a turn off here (without altering the program) comes as categorically impossible.

1620: ROP with Inca expires, I give them Space Flight for 24 gpt and 681g, horses, and 2 luxes, and renew it, just so I don't have to move units.

1625: Yaroslavl builds the Party Lounge. Slow down an ICBM build at Yekaterineburg by a turn, which will time with Robotics. Can also slow one down at Moscow, I guess.

1630: Pollution at Novogrod. Like an idiot, I forgot to adjust a gap in the blockade, so an Ottoman settler has arrived to claim our aluminum + oil. No big deal, when they get it I can trade with them, or blow some stuff up and reclaim it. Give Hittites rubber + 200g for iron, just because.

1635: Rostov ICBM-bomber. No, I don't want elections.

1640: Sell Ottomans Nuclear Power for saltpeter, aluminum, 439 gpt, 2810 g.

IBT: Ottomans boot us from their new territory.

1645: Gave Babs Ecology to renew the ROP, just because.

1655: Robotics in, swap Yekaterineburg to Stasis Chamber, launch (a couple of times since game crashed on me at space movie).
