A Babylon 5 Mod for the Final Frontier Mod

There must be a way, screwing your installation(s) in a way that they NEVER gonna work again sounds quite impossible to me, id try installing on a different partition or even repairing the windows installation if necessary...
..also if you have your mods installed in your my docs folder try moving them into the mods directory of your real civ installation.. ..this my documents stuff doesnt work for me at all (this is why i had to install manually as well)

I don't know what to try bud. I totally removed civ 4 from the hdd. Folders, Reg entries, everything. And I still get the same problem. The regular games work just fine, but none of the mods, including the ones that came with the expansions work. It just dumpes me back to my desktop without even a notice. :( Very frustrating.

All my mods were in the mod directory for BTS. Something had to have gotten changed that does not get removed during an uninstallation, but for the life of me, I do not know what it is.

Hello everyone,

I haven't been able to work on the mod, but I expect to have the two brakiri ships modded by sunday.

Any thoughts on the Brakiri shield (for the button): the comet or the one used in their ships?

Use the Comet since El Dia del Muerto is very important to the Brakiri. :D

If the mods which ship with the game work, but custom mods don't, how about the module option isn't enabled in your civ4config file?

I did the shortcut trick for starting Final Frontier without starting civ 4 first. I can now launch Final Frontier. But if I try to launch a mod from inside civ 4 it still crashes. Any ideas why that is?

But in the good side, I can now create a shortcut for the B5 mod and playtest it now. :D

Your problem is completely not logical...
Does your Computer take drugs? ..check your drives...

lol, nope, no drugs and no bugs either. I made sure of that. What I think is happening is somehow the mod launcher for civ4 is shutting down instead of launching the mods. And since the shortcuts bypass that step I can load a mod without going into civ itself.

A pain in the neck, but at least I can now play the mods. :crazyeye::lol:

By the way, I began a bug thread on the mod fora for posting them in. And since you are doing the ships and Premier Valle is doing the actual adding, it looks like I am the sole playtester. :D

Then lets hope for reinforcements.. even if i dont do anything else making 50 ships will take up to 70 weeks with my current speed :D
Luckily theres still Coyote, our combined efforts reduce the whole thing to about 35 weeks....

I'm pretty sure once we get the mod further along folks will join. Especially when we get more ships in. ;):D

Great to hear.... read it Thorgrimm!!! :)

My guess is that Civ has a file somewhere that points to some place to load the mods... but I have no clue.

OK, I'll use the comet for the brakiri, tomorrow those brakiri ships will be available.

On a side note, I'm just adding the ships, we'll need to balance them later. Its the same with the leaders, we'll have to define the personality for each one.

@Premier Valle, I have a lot of b5 mp3's so I am going to replace that god awful FF music with the music from B5. Along with a few choice quotes spoken on the show.

Already have the season 5 intro as the startup music. Sounds great.

Saschkin, I got tired of waiting for Premier Valle, so I added your Brakiri ships and the Brakiri button shows up as only pink in the game. What did I do wrong?

Probably linked it wrong with your xml, or else you have the "," problem in front of the path.

You read my mind, but I didn't want to mess with adding sounds yet, glad to hear you succeded! :)

I got tired of waiting for Premier Valle...

ooops, sorry. ;)

Could you release your version or the changes you have made? They sound cool, I would like to try them.

Moreover, I just read the Bug thread @ Gunny's. I tested it and didn't have the problem, but, the problem is there, I have found the missing code required for the sentri to be a UU of the Centauri republic. About the Frazi fighter(s) they aren't meant yet to be Narn UUs because of the fighter/squadron approach (the Frazi is so far the only fighter we have available in both flavors)

Once you release your new version, I'll address the issue with the sentri fighter. A question, have you made a "flag" for the Brakiri?, if not I'll get into it.
