Here is a dvd burner I'm thinking of getting.

Only problem is I have a laptop and it's internal. I also have a computer not in use because it's gay, but when/if I fix it that might be where I put it.

that's the drive, and in case the link changes it's Item number 4865880.

How much is a good enclosure, and are they very fast?

I'd like a way to use this and it's only $30. Thanks!

I'm a little supicious of something named "Hi-Val", particularly when I've never heard of them. I'd look up some reviews before buying. You should be able to find drives from decent manufacturers for around that price range.

Just be sure you get a USB 2.0 enclosure.

Well, also isn't there a firewire port or something that's really fast?

I know USB 2.0 works but won't that slow down the enclosure and the drive?

The guys working at Fry's said it should work but whatever, they prolly say that for everything.

Where could I get a review for the product?

Well it'd prolly be hard to get the specific kind to fit my laptop, since laptop's are spaced differently than a computer.

not really, they are standard parts; just external interface might not look great.
