A New Dawn Beta Builds

1st issue:
I conquered Khabarvosk and I noticed that the commerce generating buildings are generating way more commerce than they should be able.
2nd issue:
Fortresses appear to harvest the resource they're on now, however they do so even if you haven't researched the appropriate tech (I have a fortress on an ancient relics tile and it's getting harvested even though I haven't researched scientific method yet.

We tried 1.75 beta 1 in MP, and got OOS every 2-3 turn after playing about 50-60 turne with no problem.
Is there any reason for OOS in 1,75 compare to 1,74 ?
How should the folder look like?
"rise of manking - a new dawn in rise of manking" or can we put the "rise of manking - a new dawn" direct in the mod folder ?

Just for info, only OOS with 1,74 was when loosing a city to AI . . .

Could you be more specific about the 1st issue? A screenshot would help.

Your second issue is strange... I'll look into it.

Well, i did try some things ( results in the end of last page).

But generally, MP does not Work in Beta1, it looks pretty much the same as in 1.74h, where you could play, but got OOS soon after starting and now in Beta1 you get the same things. Or if you start with later then ancient era you Begin with OOS and cannot join the game after that.

It always happens at the exact same period of time in the game. I have a WBscenario (attached) and this crash always occurs when the game is 5.38%, Yr 2033 AD complete on Marathon speed - I don't know how to get the turn number. I had to rename the file to upload it on here so remember to rename it to SCENARIORename.CivBeyondSwordWBSave before loading it.

I included 2 save games 1 round away from the crash. Both saves were started from scratch to see if the problem could be replicated. Crash happens at the same time on both games.

I just entered WorldBuilder, deleted all Workers, Explorers and Military units and the game still crashes on the next turn. Any ideas?

It is turn 184, the Classical Era and I am playing the Hittites.

I moved a worker to a grape tile and ordered him to build a winery. Each turn the worker stopped and the winery was not built. I tried this a few turns and still no winery.

Thanks for answering. Beside the icon of derivatives, there are other techs with the same problem. I posted a longer list of things on page 165 on this thread.

Theory of everything also is wonder and project.
 
For Info Afforess:
The OOS is due to Flexible difficulty.
FD every 50 turn: on turn 50 3 players goes up one stay at the same difficulty level and goes OOS. even restarting the game, the player with different diff, get OOS every turn.
Put manualy (via the bugs) that player on the same diff didn't help much at first, but after save and restard it worked fine, we took off Flexibel difficultys and no OOS until 1250 AD :).
as a test we tried an other MP with this time FD every 100 turn, same happen an turn 100.

We have played with FD since you implement it and this is the first release we got those OOS.
 
If you build SETI then every city gets a free research institute. But research institute uses up 2 citizens. This is like hell for small cities :cry: !

I don´t know what happens to size 1 cities (don´t have one) but size 2 cities can´t produce any buildings anymore before they grow (only units). The hover texts says that the buildings need a minimum size of 3.

FD is causing it? I thought I rewrote it so it didn't OOS. I guess I need to retest it.

AnD Beta 1.75 works well in multi for my friend and I with 1 exception, we cant resume saved games (person connecting gets one of two errors, failed to uncompress game data or a runtime error)
The person hosting can reload the save fine, but anyone connecting gets that error.
Also means that when you do get an out of sync (which happens even in civ4 normal sometimes) you cant reconnect to resume the game :-/

Most recent out of sync was caused by a slave revolt.
Generally we play with revolutions/espionage/barbarians turned off, 2 human players and 4-8 AI players and the game works stably.
 
We didn't get any error on save game (4 human player + several AI).
Only explainable OOS was caused by Flexible difficulty has explain over in this thread. By the way Afforess. We tried again, this time with only only 25 turns for the test, and the same happen, so for now we leave the FD off until you say it's ok again.

For those of you playing in MP make sure your routeur are up to date. I had a firmware from 2006 on my Lynksys WRT54GS, and we were very often "waiting for player XXX), after updating the firmware this didn't happen once !
 
I play on eternity speed / perfect_world2 / large size 20 AI's .
I'm at war with mongolians , we are on the same continent . The AI built over 30 triremes but they just patrol in a small golf near his capital, while I have undefended port-cities along the coast, close to him. This happened with another ai wich I have eliminated. He built like 50-60 war galleys and had all of them clunching togheter near his capital while i was using my ships to transport troops .

this is pretty disturbing as I play on monarch from the begining and AI's are completely dumb with naval warfare.
At most they sent 2-3 ships one by one.
Besides that, great improvement over the last AND. I played over 700 turns with just 2 memory allocation errors / I got 2gb's of ram.
Also turn speed much improved
 
small problem in the factory upgrade path, after factory becomes obsolete, you can no longer build industry park which is needed for arcology
 
By the Way, loading a single player game save on another computer does not work also.
So can you load other people uploaded saves ? Or is it my problem ?
The crash was with trying to load custom game, perfect world 2 map, large, first turn.
 
Very nice gameplay in AnD Beta 1.75
You have to calculate for each city if a building is worth building it in the city. It's playable for people who love details.
No real bugs so far only :

-civic coinage tells extra gold for towns , hamlets . i did not see the extra gold on the tiles.
-you can sign an extra trade agreement, but so far as i can see the trade is the same as before.

some other questions : are elections in the mod ?
I saw it with the loaded files.
and schoolof scribes is weaker as the elder ....., SCH of S is on the other hand usefull for Plato academy.
I tell you if this time if i can play till the furure area.
