A New Dawn Beta Builds

Hello.

I have installed A New Dawn 2.0 Beta 2 on a fresh virgin installation.

I have no wonder possible, mondial or national. And some other big bugs, like infinite happyness in one town, without any relation with regims.

What is the problem ? Have I not intalled the right file ?

Start a game with "Play now" to clear the cache, then start another game and see if it happens again, please.
Post a savegame if you can.

I have one more question. Which INI file can I change the settings for revolutions. How can I set the maximum number of Civilizationen caused by revolutions.

Actually, I don't think there's such a setting, but I could be wrong.
 
From the last versions (I use the lasts of SVN) I can't see the graphics of the buildings in the map (ie. if one city build walls I don't see the city surrounded by walls, etc.). Some solution?
 
No, there is a setting in the AND global defines that shows city buildings, wonders, etc.. Higher number shows all buildings. But when the game is well developed a mid to low end computer will experience Graphical CTDs. Lowering the setting removes sets of buildings with 0 removing all. If you have an x64 OS and a Vid card with 1GB of ram or more you can probably use the higher setting.

Oh well, good to know! I had this parameter set in my games and I even didn't know about it. Pity that this doesn't stop revolution, it just turns every revolting city into a barbarian city. I had some test games where there were hordes of barbarian cities caused by revolutions :)

I made this and it changed nothing.

I reinstalled Civ IV, BTS and Patch 3.19 + A new beta build and nothing change.

Perhaps the problem come from the installer ? I think it's useless to send you any savegame because the problem occurs on all games.

Then I suppose you've downloaded AND2 Beta2 from the first post in this thread, right? This could be the problem since that beta version had some bugs which are solved in the latest svn versions; either download the latest svn or download AND2 beta from here:

This is not the latest svn but will work good enough without the problems you reported. At least, it works for me and other people.
 
Guys ive downloaded the latest beta from svn.
Im just rdy to build jet fighters but none of the AI have any planes atall i thought this latest svn had fixed that ? I miss having air battles and mod is unplayable cause of it is there a way i can fix this.:goodjob:

I wasn't aware that was still a problem. :( I will put it as the top priority to find and fix.

You are ready to build jet fighters but none of the AI have any planes. Ok. But do they have the required techs? I'm asking because in the tests I've made, most of the time this problem was due to AI getting behind with research. So if you're teching Jet propulsion but AI is still stuck at Replaceble Parts, no wonder they can't build planes...
Or do they already have all necessary techs but they simply avoid building planes? A savegame might also be useful: post it here if you can.
 
I confirm in the beta 2 version, the AI never build airplanes, same with all techs of the game. So it's is easy to crush the AIs.

I wouldn't say "never"; I had a lot of testing and I've seen AI bombing me with strategic bombers and stealth bombers. Are you really saying that you've never seen a plane built by AI or just that they are rarely built?

Edit: I've checked the game I'm playing now (I'm about halfway in modern era). AI builds airplanes, but maybe they are too few in comparison to what a human player might build. Perhaps it could be a good idea to boost a little AI willingness to build airplanes, but I'll do another check later in modern era to see if it builds more planes as the turns are passing because I remember other games where AI bombed me many times.
 
I have two bugs, the Keshiks have a +25 bonus fighting in forests even when the tooltip says the opposite (-25%).
...aaand the Keshiks don't have range combat even with the tooltips saying the opposite.

The other bug, I had some cities building science, after upgrading the mod version to the last of SVN I have a penalization in science if I change production. I mean, if one city was "building" 12 science I get a -12 science penalty when the city is not producing science, and a 0 bonus when producing it. I have only +2 science in my capital because of this. Somebody have a solution?

I always suggest not to change from one version to another while in mid-game because recalculating modifiers can have strange effects. As always, a savegame could help: if you can post your savegame, we could have a look at it. Same with Keshiks. Finally, there's now a specific thread for bug reports of AND2 and SVN versions; all problems related to AND2 and SVN (NOT 1.75, 1.76 or other previous versions), should be posted here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=474185
