A Not So Modest Proposal Regarding Buildings, Resources and Units

Do we plan to add military resources like difrent kinds of armor

pierce armor
leather armor
bronze armor
and so on

Produced by armourer building depending of tehnology and resources (it kind be a few buildings like leather armourer, pierce armourer ).

This resources can be connected with Thunderbird Combat Mod Equipment promotions.
I think yes but i need to confirm this.

Thank you Thunder I am noticed that you offen agree with me :)

Do we plan to add some early brick making building like in ancient egipt. Name should be better

Brick making hole - Requires fine clay or common clay and wheat - gives bricks burned by sun

I think he's intending to imply Adobe or clay bricks such as were used in Sumerian Ziggarauts... which techwise could/should come much earlier but should not be counted as the same as a brick really... a bit more crude than that.

Yes i think that clay bricks should come earlier than masonry. Thnks Thunder :) As always ;)

Well the bricks require clay for the Brick Mason. I have no idea where else they would fit in. The Egyptian wonders and Ziggrauts all occur at or around Masonry tech. Any earlier and it would be pre-Sedentary lifestyle, which would be much too early.

:joke:Oh dear, it is the end of civilization as we know it! I agree with Hydro!

Well then you have the right place for brick invention I think, but when did we start using these rock hard bricks we have today?

Says Romans used kilns to make bricks rather than drying bricks. However when you live in a hot place like Egypt the sun is an oven already. And without an abundance of flammable material its no wonder that they sun dried their bricks rather than putting them in a kiln. Not that Egyptians did not have kilns too. Just less effort and resources.

Even in the industrial period sun dried bricks were used in buildings in the UK. Sun dried bricks have been used for along time, when a building with them caught fire you ended up with fired bricks as can be seen in some of the Babylonian zugurats (built with sun dried but some are fire damaged).

Well sure, no construction material has ever gone completely out of use. Even Adobe is still handy today (pun intended).

@Praetyre

1. Tweaked Acupuncturist's Shop, Aerospace Complex, Bowling Alley, Church of the State, Church School, Village Hall, Town Hall, City Council, Metropolitan Administration, Construction Firm, Courthouse and Engineering School.

2. I don't know where the Cothon is. It seems like a forgotten leftover from the UB building days. It probably should be disabled/removed. or linked to Carthage culture somehow.

3. I will go over some more later.
