Then the Iraq War started in 2003 should be included in the count since there was no official declaration of war against Iraq. In fact, the last time the US made a formal declaration of war against anybody was WWII.

No, it's not. Read the Constitution. Only Congress can make a formal declaration of war and no such declaration was made by Congress.

Also, just because troops are present in a war zone and even taking part in the fighting, does not mean the nation from which they hail is "at war." For example, Russian forces are operating in the Ukraine right now and are even participating in some of the fighting, but you would be hard-pressed to describe the Russian Federation as being in a state of war with the Ukraine right now.

Also, just because troops are present in a war zone and even taking part in the fighting, does not mean the nation from which they hail is "at war." I never said it was declared a war by Congress. I said that the Army recognized it as a war zone. You are overloading the semantics.

We already had that prior to the last invasion. Now we are experimenting with democracy.

ıraq will not be "selling" oil , now that Kurds once again on the move to get full control of Kerkük oil trade , now that after they ran out from Musul (leaving the town to ISIL) , they have like a million or two of refugees and like they have to care for them .
