-1650 – Geriatica completes worker, starts chariot. Town of West Point founded on the western coast – starts barracks. My 18 citizens are now a whopping 48% of the world’s population. I’ve also reclaimed #1 in GNP and manufactured goods – is Mel’s Golden Age over already? Azzaman built the Colossus for me – the extra gold in general will be corrupt once I capture it, but the tourist income could be nice. He seems to be culture-mad… hopefully he builds me something like the Pyramids next instead of the Oracle or something useless like that.

The only thing it really tells him is the rate of progress on the piramids, and hopefully he will be honest enough not to look at all.

Ok, the image is of my capitol during its (despotic) golden age. You will notice that rather then changing my extra citizen to an entertainer (which is default) I have made him something more useful whilst maintaining the city happiness.

unfortunately, the 2 people that knew the secrets of nukes ate too much sugar and died from sugar poisoning. Chief Fatty currently residing in his grave has called the best scientist in the land to figure out who poisened the sugar. Early suspect include fe3333au's rotting corpse, and the barbarian that was spotted north of the south pole.

Learning math next turn, and had a barb kill my newest settler in the IBT. Im in deep ****, since Cham is expanding much faster than me, and my rare settler has just been killed by a roaming barb... grrr.

-1625 – Salamanca produces settler, starts settler. Found more goody huts in the deep south.

-1610 – MrEdTon completes worker, starts worker. Clear the barb camp on the furs for 25 gold. Pop barbarians from the southern goody hut. Azzaman says he will have Math next turn, so I send him Writing this turn. On the IBT the popped barbarians kill my southern explorer.

In other news, I have found a goodie hut (will pop in 2 turns) and that continent connection may not be as prommising as it seems.

-1575 – azza and I complete the Writing for Math trade. Even after losing a warrior, I’m still average compared to azza – that surprised me. Azza enquired about Republic – I told him I was going to Monarchy to attack Mel earlier and because I had no fresh water. Azza replied that he had no fresh water either – I see a lot of fresh water in the south. Is he lying, or has he not explored that area much?

Found the town of Final Repose on my southern coast, start barracks – this is my last non-corrupt town for a while. I hold off on popping the other northern goody huts until my injured warrior is healed. My curragh still has not located Mel – is he avoiding the coast?

I have reached 51% of the world’s population (21 citizens) – azza is all the way down to 19%.

In other news:
I poped barbs
I plan on connecting my two areas together (the cities i build and the cities I captured) in order to increase my luxeries and get another worker in The Thrown room (This will increase my production rate of the piramids, whilst alowing the city to grow). However, my science rate will suffer (because The Thrown has a scientist that will work the land after the connection).
