In the dark twilight, however, the army is ambushed by Albionese. After grueling fighting, Anicul remains victorious, but her entire party is dead. Only one Albionese survives, the blonde woman Rebas (Kate Higgins), and Anicul takes her as prisoner. However, in order to survive the harsh wilderness, the two are forced to set their differences apart and work as a team to survive.

Through out the series, they develop a bond, which quickly escalates into a full-blown romance. This forbidden love puts them at odds with both sides, as both know the other will be executed if they decide to go back to either army. Now they must flee the Forest of Awakened Nights and the two kingdoms, and hopefully reach the nearby, neutral Republic of Aylli. A twist at the end of season 1 will reveal that Rebas is also a noblewoman in Albion.

The idea that humans will eventually outnumber the living gods (who are all male and therefore can not breed and make new aesir) and take Asgard for themselves brings potentional conflict to the party's cohesion with the humans. Meanwhile, Höðr's previous accidental murder of Baldr before Ragnarok, along with his general blindness, calls into question his loyalty usefulness to the group as large.

Can the eight settle their differences and make Asgard into the paradise it was foretold to be after the fateful battle? Or is everyone fated to die, even them?

However for simplicity's sake advertising and commercials are abstract, and the producers have to say whether it is a 30 minute time slot or a 60 minute time slot.
