Ok is that your argument? The fact that you cant defend this guy?

Dont post a link just tell us why this guy should be taken seriously.

Ok I wasn't sure what you meant. I didn't think I had to 'defend' him or what he says. I just thought it interesting enough to share with my fellow CFCers.

I don't understand why some of you instantly descend into weak childish insults and offer nothing more useful. Are you threatened by him?

I prefer to let people make up their own minds so I will not tell anyone why they should take him 'seriously'. If you ask me if 'I take him seriously?' then ok I can give you an answer. I think some of what he says is corroborated by the investigations of other people. He seems sincere. That is reason enough to listen to him if not necessarily to agree. Will that do?

But really why can't we talk about the topics raised by the interview?

So what where you doing to anyone who didn't post more then a few sentences?

Just because someone seems sincere doesn't mean theres an ounce of truth in what he says.

Although you have yet to post anything meaningful, so what is your arguement, and what facts support it?
I am not making an 'argument' really, just I found this vid interesting. If you don't like 'oh well' go and do something else like go play in the road.
Or is "ad hominem" the only word you know?
Obviously not. BTW Ad hominem is 2 words. See i can be a pedant too. ;)

So clearly your above finding fault with others...

I was provoked by silly insults into returning fire. I don't care how many sentences anyone posts, obviously.

Of course. So what? Sometimes sincere people DO have tonnes of truth in what they say.

But really is it too scary to actually discuss the subject matter?

No especially when provoked. Probably I should just ignore the silly posts.

No its not too scary to discuss, but to note I believe that you where the first to start with silly insults.

No especially when provoked. Probably I should just ignore the silly posts.

Which makes you a hypocrite as you seem to provoke people as much as they provoke you.

Not to scary? Ok good so lets go at it!

Your note is not correct review the thread and you will see.

I have already admitted that I have responded in kind to provocation. I have also stated I should probably not respond to the silly posts.

Ok so lets let bygones be bygones. ok? No more insults or ad hominem. ok?

Lets just discuss the subject matter of the interview or not post here at all? ok?

Well, about the only point that he has is the part about the Federal Reserve. It may not be entirely unconstitutional, but there sure as crap is something wrong with giving a secretive and private corporation control over, basically, our entire economy. The Federal Reserve does not serve the best interests of the American people.

Ok but I'm going to hold you to no more ad hominem.

I think that for the most part that Aaron Russon has been going on about this to sell copies of his movie. Although it may be a interesting idea it is not based on facts but rather poorly conceived idea's based on half truths.

Agreed. There is a very good, detailed and well referenced (although enormously long) documentary (not by Aaron Russo) I have seen on the fed over the internet sometime ago although I can't find the link or I would post it here for reference. If I find it later I will post. Perhaps you have seen it already.

As will I to you.

Well I am not sure I entirely 'buy' this argument. Aaron Russo by making 'from freedom to fascism' went from mainstream to fringe of the fringe. If he was just making stuff up to make money he would have done better to stick with the stuff he was producing before.

The Federal reserve coordinates banking and money supply. Remember when we didn't have it? Or something like it. Bank runs. Bank Panics.

THAT's why. We did not have a regulatory presence and private banks went nuts. Something had to be done.

as for taxes

Taxes are not unconstitutional. We changed how we got taxes as America grew in size and scope. Period. Response to change.
