Addictions

I am probably a lucky individual in that i have tried pot, cocaine, acid, and alcohol and have not become addicted to any of them.

The addictions im talking about are less the physical ones than the psychological ones.

I am hopelessly addicted to:
Civ II
Pornography
Mountain Dew
Oreo Cookies

This topic is intendd to be s support group for those like me in need of a helping hand.

No, i have zero connections. I go to a lot of parties.

But, the last party with weed i was at, the kid's parents came home for some reason, and i grabbed all of it, something like seven ounces. *Of course*, i turned it in to the proper authorities.

Other than Civ2,and this is going to sound stupid, I am honestly addicted to Apple Jacks, yes, the cereal. If a box of it appears in the house, I will sit down and eat the entire box, like that guy in the Honey Nuts commercial. I will do this even if I am full, have sore teeth, or am completely sick of them. I can't stop!

I love that great mother Plant Cannabis!, also I very much enjoy shrooms, LSD, and X, but i'm not ADDICTED, addiction is very different than enjoying a certain substance, to bad because of the lost WAR on Drugs in America, we can't have simple moderation! People could just as well say that Civ2 is bad for you and outlaw it to. It's not about a War on Drugs, it's about a war on personal Freedom, Just Keep that in Mind next time you VOTE!

Reading this post I'm reminded of the Tool song "Third Eye" where you hear a guy say:

"You know, I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do. And if you don't think drugs have done good things for us do me a favor. Also, reading over the thread I just realized how militant I sounded in my previuos post, and I feel I should clarify. Although I once labeled myself as StraightEdge, I no longer am. I still practice many of its tenements, but gave up the no drinking and no premarital sex ones. They just sounded stupid to me. Anyway, our emotional leader here explained to me that no drugs really meant no drugs (meaning that if I got shot and went to hospital I would have to refuse anesthetic). When he said that, I went my own way.

As far as the drugs, they're here for us to use, Drugs and Herbs have been used for so many different things since the dawn of mankind. Happy to see that you've seen the light, the reason people don't want you to try drugs isn't for your own good, but theirs, becuase what ever would happen if people on a grand scale used a drug and actually found they're inner SELFS, things would change abit, and we wouldn't want that to happen now would we

If you look really closely in your Social Studies textbook, you will find that most North American Native tribes got completely ripped on acid, yet they are celebrated as a people 'rich in heritage'. How does that fit in? I get the feeling it's good and traditional to do acid

my addictions?? I don't have any - why on earth should anybody think that I am addicted to anything?? Especially Civ - just because I play it sometimes and finished my GotM in 30 hours (not straight, I had a small break!!)
