Additional Civilizations (by DJSHenninger)

Ok, no problem :P But I've discovered something I've overlooked: the Lua code provides multiple free policies during golden ages and removes it after the Golden Age has ended. However, this removal also decreases future Policy costs -.- That's another reason why you pretty much had all policies. I never noticed until now, but I think I can fix it :D

EDIT: Uploaded a 'fix' for the Sasanians and debuffed the trait while buffing the building a bit (Tourism values):
- Previously, after a Golden Age ended, you'd have decreased policy costs because a hidden free policy was given and removed after the Golden Age ended. Now, during Golden Ages, the cost of Policies increase during the Golden Age only and will return to the correct value after the Golden Age ended. I couldn't find any other way of fixing this :/
- Now only the Starting Policy Trees (Tradition, Liberty, Honor, Piety) are affected by the trait. Also, the happiness convert percentage is reduced to 25% (from 50).
- Tourism values from trained units during Golden Ages increased. Also, you only need a single Iwan and every unit you train in every city during golden ages provides Tourism.

Where did you upload it? The mediafire link on the first page still appears to be the old version :P.

Uhm, I double checked it. It should be the latest version, since the description mentions that 25% of Happiness is added every turn to Culture (instead of 50%).

This is the link, which should be the same as the one on the first page:

I usually choose to 'replace' the existing version at Mediafire, but there were cases where the previous version wasn't replaced. But this doesn't seem to be the case here. Try to redownload it. Or perhaps you noticed that one of the supposed changes weren't actually made?
If it isn't the latest version, then I have to re-do the changes since I lost every single mod and all art assets. All I have are these uploaded mods -_- And this means I lost Kazakhstan as well.

Hey DJSHenninger, just tried the patch but it isn't working. I've activated the patch + YnAEMP and Nepal but they aren't showing up when I try and select a civilization. It said in the patch that it references the other civilizations positions from the Albania civ, so I installed and activated it as well but it's still not working.

You should remove Bulgaria, as it has internal support.

I removed the internal support again.

I rebuilt the mod and it now works. Bulgaria, Georgia and Croatia showed up, for example. The link has been updated.

Just here to report that the download in the new link is working fine, thanks for updating it :)

Thanks for the confirmation!

The Kazakhs are more or less done. Next civ will be Algeria. Still need a good symbol and a colour scheme. Any ideas? Red/white/green are all rather common colours. My Pakistan mod has green/white already. Red/white is too common.

Abdelkader El Djezairi:

UB: Zawiya; probably a University replacement.
UU: Dey; Great person replacement.

Defensive Warfare/Faith based civilization?

Great to see the Kazakhs done, despite the troubles you had earlier :D.

For Algeria, perhaps green and pale red would work? Or the other way around.

Well, this is the icon used for the nation of Algiers in Europa Universalis IV:-

Spoiler Quite a large image inside, y'have been warned. :

Hopefully that's of some help. =]

Ah well, why not? Thanks :p

EDIT: something like this?

I made this :)

The hand thing in the middle of the Coat of Arms apparently has some sort of significance. That's as far as I got, sadly. :(

Never really noticed the hand thing :P Based on this, I made another two icons:

I also decided not to use the dark green colour. Way too common and therefore rather dull

I made this :)

Looks good, although it may be a bit too much. At least I know I have a lot of options :p
Perhaps something that goes with these two icons:

I made the one using the EU IV flag in the other thread.

The colors are nice imo. It uses the blue from the flag and the creamy yellow from the Ottoman icon.

Those colours + the hand thing will do! Thanks.

Really pumped to try out some of your Civs! Especially Wallachia, the Sikhs and Pakistan. :)
