You leave the concrete island behind and head to the much larger island to the south. There seems to be more life here, and plenty of vegetation. You believe that you could easily sustain yourselves here off of natural bounty. The voyage was easy, but you spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach and planning your next move.

You begin exploring the island and you constantly feel as though you are being watched. It seems most of the island is uninhabited, but plenty of bird noises and cracks in the brush seem to indicate that you are not alone. Eventually you find what has been following you, a large rat, dressed in palm fronds. It takes some coaxing but eventually it comes out, and stands on its back feet, wielding a spear. It takes some time to communicate with the creature, but you manage to build trust and show that you are not a threat. With some convincing, it takes you towards the southern coast. (Charisma Challenge succeeded)
The rat takes you to the coast, where you find what was once an airstrip, and you see what appears to be a miniature city sprawled out before you. Thousands of rats scurry back and forth, and many pause or run away at the sight of you. You and Salma are taken to the largest of the huts and a garishly dressed rodent with scars comes out before you. To your immense surprise, it speaks in passable English and offers you a job.
You are at the ratfolk city of Suttar
The merchants here have nothing that would fit you for sale
The town of Suttar is easily the strangest one you've been in during your wasteland wanderings. It appears to be an elaborate model rather than a full-scale settlement. You cannot fit in any of the buildings here, but you notice the surprising scale of fortifications which would easily repulse similarly-sized attackers. The town itself seems to be bustling in every meaning of the word, and now that you are paying attention, you see rat-sized roads leading to other parts along the coast. Your catamaran has been brought around to the docks here, and surrounding it you see hundreds of small craft with sails, looking like an armada preparing for war.
1. The king of Suttar would like you to join them in their assault on an enemy kingdom of rats far to the north. He claims that these creatures have constantly attacked and raided the coast, seeking to dominate the entire island chain. You possess firepower that these creatures do not and a comparatively immense warship. He claims that the other island has a functioning boat suited for humans and more distant travel. (Multi-Tier Challenge; High Risk) 8 Days
2. Clearly the sun has baked both of your minds. Go back to a camp and await rescue, or at least relax for a while.
3. You spotted an island to the west, it's a bit smaller, but within easy reach after you bring the boat around. There does not appear to be any structures on that island. 2 Days

The armada sets sail at down and your ship proved to be the center of the formation. A storm sweeps in and you believe that will be the end for the whole fleet, but the rats prove to be formidable sailors, holding their own against the waves, you find yourself challenged more by the need to trim the sails and continue forward. You manage to continue to the north with your ship, keeping up speed and sail with the rats. Holding the sails prove to be a challenge, but one you are easily able to surmount, with Salma's help. Eventually a dawn breaks and you see land before you. (Strength Challenge Succeeded)
As you approach the shores, you see another fleet approaching yours, galleys of rats being rowed into battle. To your surprise, you see some wielding bows and arrows, but most have a number of small spears. One of the tiny galleys even launches bolts from a formidable ballista. It would all seem ridiculous if not for the casualties being sustained by your allies. One spear from a ballista hits your shoulder, and despite its small size, it hurts quite a bit, though your armor held most of it back. You and Salma provide fire support with your guns, and her pistol rips through the wooden craft like cannon, while you miss terribly with every shot. Salma laughs at you as you seem completely incapable of landing a single shot. Your gun empties and you switch to your sword. (Perception Challenge Failed)
The attacking rat fleet is unable to break through the defenders' blockade. Your ship and the rest of the fleet pull back and the army makes landfall on the coast. The fleet continues to maintain itself off shore, while the defending forces give Salma's gun a wide berth. You prepare to head out with the main rat army into the city, though they regret you don't have any ammunition to bring with you. The enemy city is protected by a three foot high wall, waist height to you, but obviously a formidable defense against your allies. You just need to make it through a charging enemy army to step over the wall and break down the gates from the inside. You deftly dodge the two armies as they clash in the fields before the city, and evade attempts to stop you. You step over the gate and bring it down with a quick kick. You see a number of defensive weapons on the wall and break them apart too. (Agility Challenge succeeded)
The enemy army is routed and fleeing towards the largest structure in the town. Outskirts have begun to burn and you stride at the head of your allies, skewering the rats who dare to face you. A larger rat is rallying the enemy army around the steps of the largest structure, and you can hear mewling within. You call to the rat to surrender his people before it is too late. To your amazement, the enemy rats put down their arms and surrender to your allies. The invaders manage to help put out the fires and you see the two tribes cooperating to restore order. (Charisma Challenge succeeded)
After the smoke has quite literally cleared you and Salma are approached by the two leaders of the tribe. They both speak in somewhat intelligible English and the ruler of Suttar thanks you for your help. The other thanks you for appealing to his reason and preventing war from becoming a massacre. Both show you the way to an old abandoned seacraft on the northern shore of the island. They said it is yours for your efforts and a way to return home. Salma takes a look at the engines and machines and nods, saying that she can bring it up to working order. After a couple of days of work, the engine roars back to life. A crowd of rats help you haul it off shore and out to sea. One rat seems to have joined you. He stays aboard ship and seems intelligent enough as you work. He provides some aid and helps Salma repair the engine. You wonder if he will ever learn English. (Rat Engineer joins the party)

If Salma knows the itinerary of the ship that stole our power armor from us, follow it, try to board them at night to take back what was stolen from us.
