Ok I'm having a lot of Fun playing the Viking Level but when I researched Treasure Location It tells me that I found a Treasure in Central Europe?
Where is it? if I reasearch it do i just get money, or do I have to find it becuase I don't know what they want from me or where I can find the Treausre
Please help these Scenarios are soo confusing all of them Viking One is just the easiest to understand and I don't evenm get this.
They really need to better document what you need to do

It's telling you to look around in Central Europe for a treasure chest Unit.

You should have gotten a ping on your minimap too being more specific where the treausre was.

Ok I hope it dosen't move, but this is the easiest One, Rise of Rome is the toughest

I had the same problem. It told me I had found treasure in western europe, but there was nothing to see on the map. I reloaded an autosave to make sure - the second time around the treasure was in southern Ireland, but definitely no visible cues.

I think I might have had a similar problem in Omen. I got messages about the messengers from divinity, and the game zoomed on one of my units. But there was nothing to see. No messenger from God... Maybe because I'm atheist? :P

Yes, I've been able to actually find the treasure a few times, but only by pure dumb luck. No Ping on my minimap that I could discern.

Here's another question: If you research the treasure map and it says, say "Central Europe" and before you can find it, you end up researching the next treasure map, does the first one vanish, or are there now multiple treasures on the map?

They vanish eventually. I went to find the one in europe, didn't find it. I went to find the one in england, didn't find it. I went to find the one in Ireland, didn't find it. I think the best way to do it is turn off research and get money that way instead of getting the treasure and then capture cities and sell them back, although I haven't tried that myself.

I've only tried the scenario at Noble level, and only twice at that. I'm going to end up at about 30k gold this game (15K short of the goal). I'll have grabbed two treasures.

How are other people playing the scenario? I have my home continent cranking out units, and have been capturing/ransoming cities like crazy. I eventually decided to keep 3 or 4 cities near the center of the map as a kind of base to help speed things along. Still, this isn't really working well enough to give me a win.

One thing I had forgotten to do was use promotions to speed up my longboats! Until the last couple of turns of my ongoing game, I hadn't realized that there was a +1 movement promotion available. D'oh! That will help a lot in the next game.

Also, any reason I should ever create swords? I mean, I can get 3 promotions for new units (Vass., Theo., Barracks, and great general) so I can get CR3 out of the gate, but a sword with CR3 is STR 7 + 95% (14-ish) vs city, where a Berserker is 8 STR +75% also 14-ish), but with amphibious and +50% vs Melee too.

Thoughts?

Yeah the treasure is maddeningly difficult to find before the AI grubs it.

They should give you 10-15 turns to get it before the AI, not 5.

Treasure you can't ever find is no fun to look for I stoppped bothering :(
