Ahhhhhh!

Erm, this is slightly embarrising to admit but here it goes...

I got my hot little hands on a copy of civ4 a month or so ago.... I was very excited about purchasing it, understandably, and in my excitment and haste i neglected to make sure it would be ok.... So i ended up buying a DVD copy and i have no DVD drive (haha, Noob.)
So i manged to install it through the network and hoped i'd be able to play it off my partners PC, but no.. that doesn't work... So then finally managed to find a crack for V1.56... HOORAY....
Ok now heres the problem, i installed the next patch today without thinking (UberNoob! Haha!!!) so now the crack doesn't work... D'OH! And i can't reinstall V1.56.

Ok so does anyone know where i can get a crack for v1.61 or any other helpful advice besides:
1)Think about things more before you do them.
2)Get a DVD drive (i have some finacal issues atm((being owed £1k from my last job and payday on my new one isn't till the end of may!!!!)))
3)Steal my GF's PC... Not an option, she will defend it till her dying her breath... and i'm sure well beyond that.....

As far as I know there is none out for 1.61 yet,not sure if one will be made. I guess you'll have to settle for 1.52. Just so everyone knows I bought my copy at Wal-Mart & found a no-cd patch on the Internet. Just for a performance increase,that's all.

But for further reference discussing this subject is against forum policy & a no-no

If you want stuff like that, I'd advise searching for it yourself,I doubt you'll get an answer even if there was one available....

What you can do (instead of waiting for 1.61 nodvd crack) is:
1. create a dvd image on your hard disk
2. mount it (daemon tools)
3. hide it (sd4hide)
and play. works.
