AI Civs you love to hate

Alex is worst, monty is predictible and he attack as fast he have his first jaguar. Alex is in anouther class. he will attack as fast he gets the army to do real damage and that is realy bad. closed boardes, watch the power graf closly or take him down asfap is the only solution. I rarely try to go for war victorys so for me hes a pain in the ass. building for space is is not possible if you can't bribe him to war. the real solution is to crush him before building apollo prodject.

I've never met mao in a game yet but Quin is nice to have around and realy easy to please. I most often make him an ally in my wars if needed.

Mansa Musa. I must say i love him, hes the best traiding pall in the game. I never attack him unles i'm jamed in and most to.

I don't like Alex, Mounty and Toku. Once Toku attacked me while I was preparing to attack Saladin. Saladin was getting too advanced quickly. When I went for Saladin, I had Grenadiers and him Infantry. I quit the game.

Sometimes I do have a surprise. Just before posting this, I quit a game at 975 BC (Monarch, Vanilla). Peter declared war on me, he had 1 Swordsman, 1 Axeman, 2 Chariots. My city had one warrior.

I hate alex with passion, he is patient and only strikes when he thinks he has the upper hand making him the worst neighbor you may have.

i really really don't like having monty or toku or either khan as next-door neighbors. i don't like early axe-rushing, but i don't wanna stare at those guys close to me too long either. toku's personality just drives me up a tree. i have a grudge against his mother for not teaching him to share or something, i mean come on, i'm stingy with open borders too sometimes but not all the time! oh and shaka, i don't trust him at all.

i've never had any trouble at all with alex, i like having him kinda nearby. i was actually surprised when i noticed him mentioned him here all the time in the "ugh, alex" context. i don't know why my experience is different, i guess i've had maps that keep him far enough away and pre-occupied until i am ready to go to war. he's been my buddy a few times, my war ally and i then i go "sorry pal, but now it's your turn" and backstab him myself.

i used to love hatty, gandhi, asoka, and mansa. and then i started trying a deity diplomatic game (G-Major 9, i'm trying it OCC). OMG, my opinions of them are changing. hatty, she's still a sweetie but her WFYABTA limit is way too low when i neeeeeeeed them to trade with me. girlfriend i am not advanced, i am 80,000 techs behind you and counting. and gandhi likes that bright shiny UN too much, had to kick him off the list of opponents, no matter how nice he is. mansa, i keep changing my mind. he trades with me and i wanna hug him, then he trades with everybody else and i wanna strangle him, but i don't have to worry about WFYABTA. today's attempt, i didn't get a "you have been defeated message" just "asoka has won a space race" victory, since i couldn't get enough votes in time. i scored ethelred(?) the unready, not dan quayle, even tho i lost, go figure. so difficulty definitely has an impact on who i like and who i don't.

Hannibal. He can tech as well as Mansa, he starts hogging all the wonders toward the end, and if you get to "cautious" with him, all bets are off -- he likes to attack just to mix things up every once in a while, even if he's on the far side of the world.

I would like to add Caesar on the list.

Reason: Constantly harrassing my border cities with his praetorians and catapults.

Romani ite domum! :p

Which Caesar? Personally I find Augustus easy to get along with.

Rancid Sushi, I meant Julius Caesar. I don't have the Warlords expansion, and had no idea that they've added Augustus. Now I know. ;)
