Righty. I currently have the urge to get more serious in my civ play.

Thusly I have submitted my first game.

Cheap and easy. Tiny Chief Conquest as the Aztecs.

Game submitted. Once i've got the green light that i've done it right, submitted it etc I will dive in some more :D
I doubt my game is going to be any good as regards score/time etc.. just want to make sure im playing it right and within the rules first

If you didn't grip the sticks so tight, you wouldn't be Aiken. Also, remember to practice *at all* dynamic levels so your ears aren't Aiken. Names like pataflafla, malf, and chesse-da-cutta are kind of Aiken in my opinion.

:p 5cl

If you can't win in 4 turns, then you have no business playing this one. :p

Yeah, unfortunately, to make the table there you have to be done by, uh, 3650 BC. (That's a fairly flawed table, in that it's more a function of the right map than any actual skill.)

Can someone enlighten me about the meaning of that name?

I think the joke is how it sounds like aching..

Oh I don't expect to get on the table for that setting.. I know its more about luck than anything.

BUT, it was the quickest way to complete a game, and see if I would actually be accepted.

I didn't want to play a SS game or something for days and days, only for it to be rejected for something simple.

It's checked and accepted! Welcome to the HOF, Abaddon.

Yay!

Now to submit lots and lots of games and start climbing the ladder :D

Gosh, so many victory types I have NEVER even tried in all my YEARS of playing!

Diplomacy and Culture are types I have never tried.. could be interesting!

There is a link right above "Submit Game" labeled 4000BC. If you follow that link, you can check your starting save to make sure that it is acceptable, before you invest any time into the game.

Good advice for those new to the HOF!

Aye, thankyou :)

Aiken Drum was a character in a sci fi book series, a pickpocket and thief who became a king. Very good books, IMHO.

My favorite books ever!

Abaddon have you read her other series?

I've pretty much tracked down and read everything by her :)
I even bought the companion for the Many Coloured Lands.
