From what I read on Wikitravel it sounds like a pretty nice country. That the people are hospitable and respectful, and that they are also becoming modern. Albanian is also supposed to be easy to learn, and Italian is de facto a second language there.
And they're a kiss on the cheeks kind of people.

Would you go there and then stay for awhile? Any idea about the positives/negatives? I was offered a job there but the salary is pretty low but it seems interesting and some pictures I've seen of the town look nice.

I have been there. It's a third world country, although its economy is growing. There is a rapidly growing middle class that lives very well, right next to neighborhoods that are destitute. You'll see a perfectly normal city street, and then suddenly run into a donkey pulling a cart. The people are very pleasant and hospitable. The beachfront is fabulous, especially the Ionian coast. Watch out for the food. You are guaranteed to have what I call "Skanderbeg's Revenge" (diarrhea), but antibiotics don't require prescriptions.

No, the Welsh and Scots are sheep thieves, who are smart enough to avoid serious punishment when caught with stolen sheep by claiming that they only took them for sex. The English are the ones whose laws considered bestiality to be such a minor crime that their neighbors thought this defense was a good idea. If anything this implies that actual sheep shagging may have been much more commonplace among the English.
