I'm backing:

  • The Maya
  • The Inca
  • Ethiopia
  • Mali
  • The Ottomans
  • The Byzantines
  • The Iroquois
  • Babylon
  • Carthage
  • Austria

That would be an awesome dlc, I can't think of a better way to celebrate an anniversary then with the return of most of the classics!

Substitute Haida, Tlingit, or Powhatan for Iroquois and I couldn't have said it better myself. :D Iroquois would be fine, too, though.

A New World dlc would be pretty sweet too!

maya, ethiopia, babylon, hittites, armenia, inca, portugal, zulu.
more and more :)

Food for thought for the "2nd anniversary announcement" boosters: Sarah, high queen of marketing, is on vacation this week.

Out of nine new leaders in R&F three were females.

I think there is a hint that we will get around that number of females too, so what civs could realistically have strong/interesting women leading them?

I'd say Maya(Lady Six Sky) and Vietnam (Trung sisters) could easily have them... Portugal's Maria and Carthage's Dido were pretty controversial so I doubt they return.

That's what they want you to think!:king: (this is basically a tin foil hat, right?)

(I would tacitly add “the Celts” to this list.)

I mean, surely they must know that the fans won’t just settle down if the big favorites are left out.

I would be excited to get an announcement for an Announcement this week.

If Sarah is on vacation this week. This pretty much kills all my hype do to hear something before the second anniversary.

If next expanssion pack is last one , then this is what most people should want ,I would still add 1-2 new Civ to list. But if they plan 2 more expanssion (I doubt it) then who knows...

I wonder how would they fit two leaders on one screen.....I could see the leader choice of the Trung Sisters being criticized in a similar fashion to Boudica, being that they were leaders of rebellions who failed. Unlike Boudica, none of the Trung sisters were actual rulers/queens.

I hope the Maya get a female leader though. Though the info for Lady Six Sky on the wiki is scant. I wonder if Firaxis is willing to do actual research for the leader. :p
