OOC: Well, how can I trade for stone? No one in Kenethica has any iron or stone in the first place! I also don't have any ships to trade with the other two nations, either!

EDIT: What's the religious status on the islands?

Moria has a stone camp. It is under the rule of the King. Also there is another province in Kenethica that can produce stones, Desolace, also under the command of the King. The King will also improve his provinces so he may have stone camps constructed so he can trade them off to his lords. Or you can try and persuade him to do so.

All island share the same official religion, which is Catholicism. All King owned provinces will follow Christianity, but if the Lord wishes to follow a different religion he may do so. There is no telling what the King will do if you do choose a different religion.

Sorry about double posting, but could you post my stats please? I want to send in orders

As stated earlier I would have accepted your orders even if your stats were not posted as I already have you in my list. I will post them now and wait 1 hour for you to send in orders, as well as those who have yet to do so.

Update 1: 1500-1501

As the region settles into peace, the various Lords who pledged their allegiances to their Kings begin to consolidate their power. Some prepared for war, others helped their provinces, while many simply did nothing.

Lord Durgethorne began the year by issuing a large public works project. Dozens of his peasants put down their pitchforks and grabbed their shovels. Paths through the provinces were expanded and improved and the introduction of the toll was introduced. The toll forced local merchants, the only traffic the paths get to pay for the right to pass through the province. Many merchants have taken their complaints to King Ander, asking him to use his authority to establish control over his Kingdom financially. The King has yet to take any action.

Lord Von Krakenfeldt introduced his son Sigmund as his heir. The young boy is not yet old enough to hold lands or titles, but he is nonetheless pleased at the prospect of becoming his father's handpicked successor. The party thrown in his honor no doubt fueled his pride.

This year also saw the first armed skirmish after the declaration of peace by the 3 Kings. A galley which reputedly departed from the island in Kenethica raided an island province in Arathor, causing an uproar in the Royal Cabinet of Arathor. King Dashwood of Kenethica denied issuing any orders to that effect and both Kingdoms nearly deteriorated to war. It was avoided when Dashwood offered Prince Kael the hand of his daughter, Onyxia and promised that a full investigation into the issue will begin following the Royal Wedding. It was a narrow call and King Dashwood has called all of his Lords to his castle.

We have received reports of tolls through your province. The merchants are furious and threatened to bypass your region if immediate action is not taken. As King it is my responsibility to bring this up and attempt to reduce tension between your Lordship and the Merchants of Rtor. While we will make no demands that you must abolish the toll, we ask that you negotiate a favorable settlement that will satisfy both you and the merchants.

Stats updated. Treasury (banked income) can be found in () in the province stats. Military forces can be found in your family stats.

We will lower the toll by fifty percent. Is this acceptable?

Update 2: 1501-1502

The year began with a Grand Royal Wedding between Kenethica and Arathor. Those in attendance included the Royal families of Kenethica and Arathor. No lords showed up despite invitations sent, the 2 kings felt slighted by this as they went out of their way to create a grand wedding only to have no Lords or Ladies attend.

Upon returning to Kenethica King Dashwood was further angered when he discovered only one of the Lords (Lord Emmanuel) responded to his summons that all Lords respond to the Royal Palace. He has dispatched his army to order these Lords to arrive at Dashwood Castle for a meeting with the King. Prince Richard Dashwood leads this force. Though Prince Dashwood has made note of a particular ship in port at the province Noppin and reported the fact to his father. After the meeting with Lord Emmanuel the King let him leave knowing full well that Emmanuel's province was not responsible for the raid against Arathor and a purse of 100 gold coins for being the only Lord to answer his summons.

Upon returning to his castle, King Umbridge received an messenger from the north. The Province of Norland was raided Hill Bandits from the mountains and they fear there are no survivors from the Tavadon Family. The King has sent an army to investigate.

Meanwhile in Thala, Lord Stallenbach began constructing a camp in the forests. It will begin production near the end of the year and they will produce more quality lumber. Lord Stallenbach also welcomed a new child to the world late in the year, the child was a girl and was named Charlotte.

Lord Strelkov has likewise began construction of a camp in the mountains of Warmania. It is a small range and it is likely they will get only Stone out of it, but like the Stallenbach project, they must wait until early next year to discover just what the mountains will produce.

Lord Durgethorn and the merchants of Nosaj have finally reached a compromise. Merchant traffic now flows through Nosaj even if they have to pay a small toll to pass through. It was a peaceful negotiation which was thanked by the King Ander in a purse of 50 gold.

To Lords of Kenethica (minus Emmanuel)
From Prince Richard Dashwood, commander of the Home Guard.

Your King has summoned you to the Castle in Kenetri last year, it is now under my authority to order you to go, by force if necessary when you failed to attend last year.

To Lord Tavadon
From King Umbridge

I have sent an army to your location, if this letter finds you please make your way towards the border where you can receive the protection of the army. I have also ordered the army, if they find you alive and well to begin construction of a castle in your province for your protection.

To Lord Durgethorne
From King Ander

We thank you for not causing further trouble in our Kingdom and reward you with a gift of 50 gold coins.

To Lord Emmanuel
From King Dashwood

Thank you for obeying my summons, since you are the only Lord to respond, I am gifting you a purse of 100 Gold coins in thanks for your loyalty.
