Durgethorne.

I only have 2 orders. Arlog and Sendai. I cannot update with only 2. Therefore I am extending the deadline for another 24 hours. If I still do not receive any orders, the update will continue, but those who fail to send them will suffer a calamity.

This is the 24 Hour Deadline.

I was hoping the Durgethorne family would turn up long enough to answer my post, but I guess I'm kidding myself.

[/SPOILER]

If you want, I will still allow the marriage to happen. The Durgethorne family (minus the daughter) would be eliminated. The newlywed would then join your family. I too want to see marriages between Lords occur.. unfortunately with many families disappearing those of proper age are disappearing as well. :(

I will update this, do not despair. :D It will be up either tonight or tomorrow. I have been a bit busy catching up in other NESes.

*2 Lord Robert Von Krakenfeldt II, deceased, Adolph's elder by eight and one half years. Wed to Elissa of Zere, deceased.

It is chronicled that the Lord Adolph Von Krakenfeldt I (may he rest in peace) was passed the title of Lord from his father*1 in the year 1481 at the age of 23, after a tragic accident during a fox hunt. However this is not the case. Adolph's older brother*2 held the title of Lord for two years prior before irresponsibly leaving the islands of Vencur to explore the seas. Robert's court appointed Adolph the new Lord and had Robert's ascendance removed from the history books for the shame it had brought them. Up until recently, the...

OOC: in my stats, please change Arndt's status from "son" to "brother"

I should have the update finished within the next 2-3 hours. I promise.

Update 7: 1506-1507.

Eager to cash in on the reward, many villages of Warmania saw many pregnant females during the summer. Royal counters will have their final count by the fall births.

During this year many enterprising Lords have sent their sons into the King's military force, gaining independent commands of varying sizes. Many were given similar orders, patrol their regions. Save for the border regions of southern Rtor and northern Arathor, which continued to see minor skirmishes with bandit camps, and another event described below, the patrols were uneventful. The peasants are content during the reign of peace and proud to see local forces patrolling the regions.

The year also saw another wedding, but first a tragic event which Captain Ivan Strelkov's patrol stumbled across. During a routine patrol in the north-western section of Zere, a scout noticed some birds circling and decided to investigate. What he discovered was a massacre, he immediately retreated to warn Ivan of the event. Upon arriving with his force, he promptly recognized the victims as the Durgethorne family. It was apparent they fled from their province from something terrifying, hoping to either gain the protection of the Strelkov family or the King's forces in the area. They were too slow. During the investigation and burial of the bodies, a soldier noticed a figure in the woods, fearing it may have been the people who massacred this poor family, he informed Ivan and a party was formed to search the woods.

After a lengthy pursuit the troops managed to surround their prey, only to discover it was a beautiful young female, terrified out of her mind and rambling. As Ivan approached the group, he immediately recognized her as Ines, the only child of the Durgethorne family. Somehow she managed to survive, he approached the girl, who scanned the soldiers who currently had their swords out and ready. Ivan told the soldiers to put their swords away. The girl began to calm down, she studied Ivan, she felt she remembered him from somewhere but could not place it. She felt safe in his presence and with the troops now marching back to camp, Ines felt safe enough to show Ivan where she hid the family jewelry and what she could of the family gold.

After burying the bodies and collecting the hidden gold, the column marched back to the regional capital. Where Lord Strelkov welcomed Ines to the family and mourned the death of her parents. To make it formal, they proposed that Ines marry Ivan. Thus the wedding was set, and the Royals of Rtor were invited, along with the Lords and Ladies of Rtor. It was a grand ceremony, free of the plague of death and destruction of recent. It was a day of joy and happiness.

In Adirolf, Lord Emmanuel threw a festival for his peasants. It was filled with games and feasts for all. As a result of the party the peasants have renewed respect and loyalty to Lord Emmanuel, more so than to the King.

After many attempts, Baron and Baroness Stellenboch finally managed to have another child, though further attempts may be futile, according to the doctor the Baroness was getting old. The new child was a son and was named Frederich.

Two provinces have started ambitious projects to improve the travel through their provinces. Moria and Warmania, it is unknown how much these projects have improved travel, hopefully the new years will bring better information.

Finally, Fall is upon us, it is time to discover which village won the most births award of 10 Gold. Many villages have produced over 20 births while only 2 producing over 25, the highest being 27. Average birth rate for Warmania is 15 children per village this year. Congratulation to the lucky village that won the purse.

OOC: I think I covered everything. If I missed you or forgot something let me know so I can rectify it. Thanks.

Stats will be up tomorrow, I am too tired to work on them tonight. I will also do diplomacy tomorrow too.

Hey,

To His Highness King William Dashwood
From Lord Alrict Sendai of Moria

I would like to request permission to explore the idea of trade between the 3 Kingdoms.
Moria is in a weak state & its resources sit unused. Moria must have trade to increase
the exploration of advancing the income of not only Moria but the Kingdom as a whole.
If this is accepted we humbly ask permission to contact the Kings of Arathor & Rtor
with your Highness' blessing.

To Her Highness Queen Mother Elizabeth Dashwood
From Lord Alrict Sendai of Moria

The Sendai Family would humbly ask that your Highness accept our daughter Freya as
a junior attendant to her Royal Highness. She is young but quick of mind & mindful of
her place.
