Almost Newbie proposes PTW PBEM Alpha

Next turn the Mongols will start working on a Tech which will allow us to sail around the Americans. :D
 
The Mongols are still struggling against the Americans. Hope to make contact with any other civ in the distant future. :D
 
Talking about exploits: I think we shouldn't use the goto-order, because there is a bug in the pbem-modus of the game that can make a goto-unit faster than it should be.

Under the protection of 2 Mongol Spearmen, the 2nd Mongol scout has managed to slip by an American city. There are more American cities to get by though. The Americans have greatly expanded into the area since we last explored it.

With regards to go-to, I thought it was ok within your own territory, because you just get a double-move one go, but it evens up the next?
So, not ok in battle situations, but otherwise no real gain?
Or is there actually a general problem?

Quite happy not to use it, although I have been doing this...

This is turning into quite a struggle for the Mongols. There is no Iron on any of the map I have explored. The only Horses I have seen so far are deep in American territory. Mongols without horses. :mad: There is a large area of mountains and jungle between us and the Americans so that makes it difficult to go after them with Archers and Catapolts.
It looks like the only option for the Mongols is to become a seafaring nation.
 
The Americans have sent an archer after the new Mongol scout. Hopefully the two Mongol spearmen are enough to protect him. :hmm:
