My PC has frozen and dumped several times this evening trying to play 3 pbems.
The last time - my ntoskrnl was corrupted, and I'm not sure how long it will take to get it back. The PC I'm typing this from has neither my civ games, nor the oomph to run them if I were to install it.

It looks like I need a complete re-install, then find cds I've not touched for ages.
