Ahmadenejad runs that stupid Hurricane naming business?

No, this was back in 2001. "Adolph" (not Adolf, which has never been on a list) and "Israel" were removed from the Pacific hurricanes lists for "political sensitivities." I imagine that no Israeli would like to hear about Hurricane Israel killing hundreds in Mexico for that matter. Not good PR.

This reminds me of Alpha Centauri, when you run out of base names because you've expanded too much, and it just starts naming your bases Alpha Sector, Beta Sector, etc.
