What's the technological levels of my culture?

IGLOOS! Except the Tagon, I imagine them as being something like middle-ages russia. Mostly wild terrain but some developed areas and cities, with gunpowder weapons and certain kinds of machinery appearing.

Alright cool, they haven't learned anything from any Old World technology that may have spread West from the colonies? That's alright :P and I figured the tribes were still using igloos and spears, gotta love 'em seals! Maybe they'll use clubs, too... ARF! ARF! *WHACK*

Does anyone know what is the longest lasting country in this so far? the Shyin and Kaj have been around in one form or another for a very long time, although there are some countries I really haven't been paying attention to.

Darn stupid library computer! 20minuets of work! Gah!

Yanshi

Becomes Republic, uses rifles, turtleships, breechloaders, repeaters, cartridges gernades and steam machine including (Moving Fort MkIII which contains two cannons, 50 shells, and space for 10 people: 1 leader, 6 Cannoners and 3 Riflemen). Revival of Educational Spirit and they use the military for defence of the Republic agains the Union.

Zhuko Alliance: Uses same as the Yanshi Republic and bursts of Invention occurs from ancient universities. Expands a little but becomes the lead in technology. Allied with the Yanshi and the Tiandishi.

Zui Kingdom or whatever. Becomes fanatics. Assassinate Union, Tian, and Northern Empire's leaders or whatever.

Sarih: Ally with Varakan, invade yansala.

Colmassa Culture:

Colmassa Kingdoms: Continue to trade with neighbors, but desperately hangs onto own culture as opposed to adoption of western culture influences. Society economicly stagnates some due to this.

Amasa Empire: Continues to trade with Aarut Colonies for western goods and materials. Consolidates governmental control over Amasan lands. Internal struggles occur over whether to adopt western culture or purge all artifacts of western culture away. May cause loss of some outlying regions, particularlly in mountains which join up with the Colmassa Kingdoms.

Matac Kingdom: Atempts to absorb Anukarac neighbor peacefully. (Not whole land just the one piece touching Matac. Some Matac traders begin trade routes along length of Amazon.

Thanks!

Since there are no thoughts on when the next deadline should be, here are two choices to pick from: 24 or 48 hours? (from time of this post)

:(

I should say those Asalyat people in siberia will have more stuff due to influence of east asian civs etc. Also, many of your people live in the northern Aarut territories now and probably make up alot of the hunters, trappers and guides etc.

I think its the Shyin kingdom/state that has survived longest with fewest changes... I'm not sure without reading back through all the spam I've written :)

24 hour or less deadline. Also, are we going to see any other maps besides the standard ones? Such as religious maps or maps showing technlogical development?

Mmm furry seal...

Awwww, how cute. But our survival is more important, someone needs to introduce this seal to Darwin.

Anywho, orders:

The Washagon Tribes near [Hudson's Bay] will start to unite together and become more organized and develop a system of government based on their observations of the Aarut colonists. The rest of the tribes will continue going about their whole surviving thing.

The Tagon Kingdoms will continue their campaigns against each other and slowly start to break down due to internal corruption and dissent. Full blown rebellion might happen in some areas, but it will still be too early for rebellions to succeed and the government will be just strong enough to put them down. There might even be a splash of genocide thrown in as they try to cull the non-Washagons from their nation, which will only add to the anger towards the government.

The Hachago Kingdom will start expanding eastwards, while trying to remain defensive against possible Tagon invasion, which will never come, as they will be too busy killing themselves. They will try to open up trade with the Xante and the eastern nations and start developing better technology based on exsisting Tagon stuff.

The Asuat Tribes will continue their survival, as they've been doing for the past centuries.

The Waeluta Tribes will also continue their surviving, and try to isolate themselves from Takaraji and their "evil" machinery, which they will come to see as corrupting mankind.

The Asalyat Kingdom will begin to expand along the rivers to the east and west, trying to convince other tribes to join their new kingdom. They will be peaceful if its possible, but if the tribes come across as hostile, they will attack.

The Asuats in the Aarut Empire will begin an Asuat Freedom Movement, trying to get the government to peacefully let them break away and form their own nation.

The Washagons in the Waeluta Chiefdoms will try to continue their acknowledgment of the Takaraji and accept their technology, but still fight incorporation into the Takaraji Union.

My current empire started as one of my backwater ancient Indus valley steppe tribes.

Amazing update again.

OK, there are now 24 hours before the deadline (from time of this post). It is too late to protest!

Varakan Empire:

-Consolidate the empire and build a new infrastructure system in attempts to bring poor areas up to standards of major cities.
-Launch another war into India in attempts to spread our influence and setup more Katans or annex lands outright.
-Invade the Garakal Kingdom and annex it.
-Keep building up and modernizing.

Marzhung Ketada

Begin to modernize, by adopting Nadzavosk customs where applicable in an attempt to force the Marzhung to Westernise the Ketada. The man on the throne, Emperor Marzohung Il Nadzavosk (Emperor Marzhung of Nadzavosk either an insult or a compliment depending) will carry this out ruthlessly if needed. If the traditional nobility disagrees, deal with it, and find new men for the Empire, encourage intermarriage with the Nadzavosk, the introduction of tutors, and teachers etc. Give a show of force when the modernization is complete by crushing the Vonoth, and Tuizen Gou on my borders. Be friendly to our allies on the East by giving them a fair share of the spoils.

Keyzad of Nadzavosk-Savisia

Growing nationalist feeling is going to make cooperating against the cooperating with the Poneb difficult, especially when popular nationalist sentiment paints the Marzhung as brothers ethnically, practising a more traditional form of life. It also helps when they are adopting your customs at a rapid rate.

Sezat Kingdom

Continue to maintain very close relations with the Marzhung, and look to profit from their conquests in the East.

Golzyr Chiefdoms

Do exactly the same as the Sezat.

Lord_Iggy: (Sarvonian culture)
Major influence:
The Furotoca of Curias- Ideas of nationalism will begin to rise, defining the people of the Furotoca as one, united by Democratic Ideals as opposed to ethnicity.
Keyzad of Serezyl-Urgury- Work to improve our industry, to help stave off our powerful neighbours.
Keyzad of Nadzavosk-Savisia- Build up great military power and start to tie into a tight alliance with the Poneb, perhaps launching some wars against shared enemies.
Holy Yansalan Empire-Continue to decay.
Garakal Kingdom- Continue to trade and be wealthy.
Tezan Kingdom- Shut out of the Eastern Americas, a bold navigator, Zhyrenigos, will launch colonization ventures against weak, west-coast kingdoms of the new world. Sezat Kingdom- Cooperate with Vonoth to avoid Poneb Dominance.
Vonoth Kingdoms- Cooperate with Sezat to avoid Poneb Dominance.

Thanks!

ANY MORE INPUT WILL NOW BE IGNORED (probably)

Update ETA = 24 hours from this post.

@Lord_Iggy, I don't think I handled your orders very well last time. I got myself a bit confused about what was going on. I'll try to do better this time!

Return Tianshi culture etc. to NPC status, I'm taking a vacation from NESing until I figure out how to subdue my rampant senioritis. It's baaaaaaaad.

Though, I might drop in to post really short orders if no one wants to boss my poor culture around. :(

For example, I just want the Tianshi to do a general sort of crusade, rail against the Takarji Union, and probably fail but bring back technology and riches. Also a lot of nobles die in the process which leads to centralization.

Does anyone know what is the longest lasting country in this so far? the Shyin and Kaj have been around in one form or another for a very long time, although there are some countries I really haven't been paying attention to.

The Aarut have been around since either the third or fourth update.

I wish this would turn into a more traditional NES at this point :(
