Is this some brainwashing marketing scheme put on by Activision? Did they pay your 5 cents to pretend your a no period, die hard CTP2 fan? Name 10 things that CTP2 is superior to Civ2. Here are my 10 points:
1. Graphics don't slow the game down.
2. Fighting system (non stacking) works better.
3. Scenarios are 300% better.
4. Can easily create maps, scenarios, and modpacks.
5. AI isn't that good, but still much better than CTP1 or 2.
6. You run it in a window, so you can do other things while you play. Also doesn't take up all your ram.
7. Larger community of Civ2 fans on the net.
8. Wonders/improvements' effect make more sense.
9. Best spot for a city is not island surrounded by water.
10. You do not build ports, etc. But you build them in your city. By building seaports as a tile improvement makes the game look like warcraft.
