Mine has gone from Reno, NV to Portland, OR (where I live) in about 13 hours. I requested next-day air.
A couple of hours after the tracking statement from UPS said it was on a truck, I got an email reply back from Amazon stating that...
"However, in checking the order I found that it was delayed in our
fulfillment center, and actually shipped out on October 27, 2005 via
Next Day Domestic. We are very sorry for this delay.
These shipments usually take 2-3 to be delivered.
Although this time has just passed, we would like to ask that you
wait until close of business on October 29, 2005 for your shipment to
arrive. It's been our experience that the majority of late packages
arrive just a day or two after the expected delivery date. "
The best part? My Amazon account STILL stays the estimated delivery date is the 25th...
Way to go Amazon Customer Service
