Forster arrested!


More and more party members are disgusted by the oppression of Forster's administration. Some of them sued him to the supreme court for treason, and specifically oppressing free speech and free election. The court accepted the lawsuit and ordered his arrest.

Forster ordered the chiefs of police to arrest the judge. Chief of police disobeyed Forsters claimed that he only obey the law and the constitution. Forster tried unsuccessfully further to control the police, but most policemen decided that they will obey the law and the supreme court. Police managed to arrest Forster and the rest of his ministers. His trial is scheduled from tomorrow. It is the first time in American history, a president is arrested for treason!

I have the same question actually. RT hasn't said anything about repressive laws being passed by this government but was very clear about the same being passed by Wilson during his presidency.

Arresting a senator for trying to sue the US government for Violating the 4th amendment. Restricting free speech which was confirmed by Foster himself when he said "Some speech is freer than others".

All freedoms anywhere in the world come with 'reasonable restrictions' . Even in a democratic society you're not allowed to say anything you want especially not something seditious. I don't know any government that would actually tolerate seditious speech or literature and not prosecute the person responsible for it. And the USSA's facing a civil war ! There has been a civil war before which saw some freedoms being clamped down this was never questioned for its legality. Only now am I seeing people actually raising this question. Last I checked the votes for the party was tied with the votes for revolution. Now abstentions are reduced to 1. Now this is a complex situation with just 1.5 hours to spare. Now with this situation I don't know what RT would do.

Actually it's 6 for the commies and 7 for the revolution now. Unless you were one of the rioters and switched. So basically unless someone switches sides from rioting to voting or changing to peaceful protest then the communists are going down.(Excluding Moai and the Trotskyists considering they actually care about the Constitution and have helped the rebels.)

you're right. Well they're going down it seems . Though its still not been specified by RT what 'revolution' would mean here. Considering the posts made by Moai and others I think it would most likely mean that the secessionists would consolidate their own independent entity and defend this new entity. The provinces within the US which voted in support of revolution would secede from the USSA. This won't change the mainland USSA. At the end it looks more like a give and take compromise than a real revolution since USSA would remain under communist rule with Browder in charge. But that's all up to RT . I don't think he would want a collapse. This is the best way I think in which both sides can be represented without collapsing America .
