I have never seen a more bold faced lie than that the South is intolerant of racism, let alone that they punish it! Following a string of communist attacks and protests, Woodrow Wilson was shot while in Hawaii in June. One bullet went through his left arm, while the other went through his left hip. The incident has left the president paralyzed on his left side, leading to a reduction in public appearances. The Democratic Party has been infuriated by the terrorism of the far left, and has been pushing to increase military presence in cities to reduce squalor. Reaction from the incident has led to a polarization in the Democratic Party, with the party splitting between a more conservative faction, the Hardings, and the more liberal faction, the Wilsonians.
Wilsonians, and the president, have agreed to lift the antiradical bill in order to reduce riots. The Hardings, however, see this as a step in the wrong direction, and aim to block it in congress.
