You're painting everything that happened in black and white.He hasn't taken away the civil liberties of the general populace. He has tightened liberties on secessionist states, however, look at it from a logical point of view. These people are rioting through the streets and taking arms against their own country. Words have been shown not to stop it. I can understand it may not look good on a moral viewpoint however. What would you do? Also, the endless war you speak of was started by people who jumped the gun before he was inaugurated let alone done anything as President thus having no legitimate reason to secede. He was trying to save the country from being torn apart by people who do not wish to wait and see if he did anything bad first. Sir, I do believe you're mistaken. Civil liberties have clearly been curtailed for the general populace in the name of security. Foster stated this himself in a speech prior to the election. Our paper never advocated for secession nor did we state that the war against secession was unjustified, however, the worldwide war by the USSA against "capitalist enemies" is disturbing, along with the warring nature of the USSA and its predecessor. Such war has continued nearly nonstop since 1776. Now, I do understand the necessity of harsh measures in wartime, however, the secession crisis has ended in the greater USSA and the actions of Foster are now encouraging civil unrest and further revolution. Unless Foster reforms and reverses his course, he very well may face an internal revolt.
