Americans-Find the sex offender in YOUR Neighborhood

Yes I agree. Why is this information open to the public? I wonder what exactly this website is for. By giving this information to the people, don't they say: Uh, we can't handle this problem, so we let the people handle it.
I'm pretty sure that where I live there is a law saying that the location of sex offenders has to be disclosed to the public(not sure whether it is a state or national law though.)

The purpose is so that people can know if there is a sex offender living near them and protect their kids from them. I don't think random attacks on sex offenders are a very common occurrence.

Woman hangs sex offender sign on wrong house.

Officials in Benton County say a woman hung a sign on a neighbor's door warning people that the man who lives in the Bella Vista home is a sex offender. Sheriff's deputies say she had the wrong house. The sign said "Don't play here. Child molester lives here."

Carolyn Hansen of Bella Vista told officials she just wanted to protect her grandchildren.

Holy crap! From the "Coolest way you've made $?"

Certainly not the coolest but potentially the creepiest.

Some half-drunken frat guy offered to pay me $10 if he could run his hands through my hair. This was creepy in two ways. First, girls are traditionally the targets of men’s affection when it comes to hair. Second, he just randomly came up to me and made the offer. I refused but $10 is a lot for a college student. Maybe I should’ve accepted.

I stumbled upon his picture on the site. He lives only .3 miles away from me! :scared:

Has anyone ever seen Brasseye, an English comedy about how you can stir up the media top make everyone believe that at any moment your children will be attacked by CM,

There are no more CM now than there were 30, 100,200 years ago, only the awareness has changed, Let's build a wicker man outside any prison and burn these people like the social retards they are? Look we all know they are sick ,but they are no more prevalent than they ever were, your children are as safe as they ever have been, use the same measures you've laways used:rolleyes:

Did I miss the point:lol:

An important statement on the website.

"Family Watchdog makes no representation, implied or expressed, that all information placed on this web site is accurate."

Registered sexual offender map - 287 offenders found

I guess that isn't too bad considering Brooklyn has over 2 million people, though not all of Brooklyn was in the zoom. None seem to be near me though. I mistook schools for sex offender locations at first.

Wonder why all the ones that are near my high schoold have been convicted of lewd acts with 14-15 year olds.? But near me ( within a mile ) there are 5, including one that is/was a rapist.

Since I no longer live in America and haven't for several years, I punched in my old address, and Christ, 210 came up!

Outrageous... and they are not held accountable for any false information they post? Information that may ruin the life of an innocent man. I think that thsi may be justifiable for a slander lawsuit.

Yeah, I figured it was rather important to point that little snippet on their terms of use. Kind of nullifies the whole site, if you ask me.
