Ok, it may be a bit presumptious to suggest scenarios. But I have no experience in making my own, nor do I think I have the time. I am just hoping this will catch the eye of a bored scenario maker (if such a kind exists) who also likes these books. 
One original idea I had was to have the junctions like manticore be railroads, allowing instantaneous travel versus the regular trips through space. This means it would have to be a land map, which will make using missiles kinda difficult though.
