(0)2640BC: Preflight check... there really is nothing for me to check on

.
(1)2600BC: Exploring some. I notice that Qin's power rating is much higher than ours. I deduce that he has archery and I see that we don't.
(2)2560BC: More exploring... Since we're on such a small island, would it be a bad idea to destroy Qin?
(3)2520BC: More exploring... Oh, I slaughter a bear for fun. Yay, experience.
(4)2480BC: I think I will attack Qin. I can get a free worker, and pillage his capital city out, which should slow his growth a lot, and counter that financial trait. Woodsman upgrades are very helpful for this, as I notice Qin has lots of forests immediately around his capital, making it safe for us to lurk around and keep him confined.
(5)2440BC: Moving towards Qin.
(6)2400BC: Gonna sack Qin's worker next turn.
(7)2360BC: Capture a worker... and discover that Qin DOES NOT have archers. Wow. WTH?
(8)2320BC: Animal Husbandry is done, start mining. We have horses, RIGHT BESIDE our capital. Time to smack Qin. Bah! I notice he JUST built an archer this turn. That sucks...
Worker done in captial, start on Barracks. I want Mecca to grow a bit before a settler.
IBT: Qin foolishly attacks our woodsmen warriors with an archer and a warrior, which are IN THE WOODS! OMG, lol they die so bad

. And he left only 1 warrior defending his capital! Dumb AI...
(9)2280BC: Apparently, Qin was having an extreme case of bad luck attacking into those forests. One of our Warriors is not damaged, and the other is no more damaged than it was after taking out that Bear. I lose our Woodsman 1 warrior on the assault, but woodsman 2 is more that enough to finish the wounded warrior.
The island is ours.
In less exciting news, our warrior to the south beats the snot out of a lion.
(10)2240BC: lol, I was not expecting to take Beijing so easily. I already started sending the captured worker back to Mecca, but I turn him around and get him to work building on the farm.
Turn Synopsis.
Beijing comes out of resistance in 2 turns. This unexpected gain gives us some nice resources, and lessens the need for settlers, although we still want one as soon as possible. However, I am inclined to let Mecca grow another pop before we start on a settler. This would give the worker a chance to do something there as well, like finish with the horses.
Military will only be needed for escorting settlers and killing animals for now. At least until barbs begin showing up. Also, the fact that we now OWN Qin's land gives us more freedom to settle, in not having to block the guy in, thereby letting us settle on more desirable terrain (i.e. not all that desert there...).
An interesting fact. Beijing has 10 forests around it. Wow. Lot's of trees. We may want bronzeworking very quickly to fell those trees and get Beijing working better. It has an amazing +5 to health though, so we may want to save an even number of forests for lumbermills later (much later) in the game.
Look at all them silks we have! 6! Count em, 6! We will be in an excellent happy trading position later in the game.
