I need some COLORED paintings of what the Ancinet Chinese Army's Uniforms looked like. If possible, the ones in Qin Shi Huangdi's tomb. Thanks a million

You might want to try searching thru sites featuring movie or TV reproductions by Mainland Chinese studios. They usually keep very close to the actual thing. ;)

Western (earlier) Zhou:

This is but a sample showing armor of the time. In reality each state will have its own uniform.

Qin dynasty, officer:

Qin dynasty, infantry, cavalry, archer:

The last 2 pics are the ones you're looking for I believe.

Han dynasty, officers:

Han dynasty, chariot:

The Han was the very last era to use chariots.

Western (earlier) Han, infantry:

Han dynasty, cavalry:

Han dynasty, heavy infantry:

Starting from here iron armor becomes mass produced.

Eastern (later) Han, infantry:

Three Kingdoms and Jin dynasty:

Again there should be subtle differences between uniforms of each state.
The wheelbarrow was also invented at around this time.

This is an extended period of fragmentation in the history of China. Basically a sequence of dynasties existed in the south while the north first underwent a period of chaos known as the 16 Kingdoms and then a long period of stability under the Northern Wei, which eventually split into two before another series of wars unified China under the Sui.

The Song, Liao, Jin and Xi Xia were overlapping kingdoms and dynasties occupying the era between the Tang and the Yuan. Ethnically the Song was Han, the Liao Khitan, The Jin Juchen, and the Xi Xia Tanguts.

The last painting was of some soldiers of Koxinga's army, fleeing from the Manchus and yet successfully driving the Dutch out of Taiwan. :crazyeye:

That's about all I could find using basic Image Search. Hope it was helpful.

Dann deserves a medal.

The Portuguese Infantry war far more organized and armored then reflected in those pics, afterall China did give us Macao as a present for kicking its enemies ass, but very nice nevertheless.
