Stag's, like horse's, are too cowardly. Battle Stag maybe? War Moose?
Hyena's are appropriate, but don't dwell in tundra.
Panda's need bamboo resource; crack-up option though!

I could see the fur clad Doviello incorporating Sabretooth, Kodiak Bear, Giant Owl, Bison (mounts), Giant Skunkbear, Yeti, Giant Wolverine, as examples. The Mammoth is mandatory!

Also, I loaded Age of Ice just to look at the models. There is a giant Eagle in there...could be used as a Roc unit, native to peaks/coast/ocean.

I like the snake model, I just can't stand the animation. It doesn't move at all, it just kind of... glides along the ground.

The stag isn't going to be used for combat, but rather as a stack buff... Think Bannor Flagbearer.
If I use them, the Hyena and Dog will simply be used to differentiate different levels of wolf, at least as far as the Doviello are concerned.
Not sure about the Pandas still, if just because I don't know where they would be allowed to spawn....

Bison are in, at least as a resource. The Doviello already have Bison mounts... Going to allow them to use Bison as well as horses for them.
Going to try and make a Sabertooth model at least if I can't find one...

Sadly, no it can't. It's an Aircraft model, so it requires a base.

Cold mountains/hills with forests. They like snow and the ones in the San Diego Zoo and National Zoo (both are US zoos) get frisky when it snows. The pandas in the Chengdu and Wolong reserves in China also get playful in winter.

Here's a panda.dds. I did not make it and I can't find the original post to properly credit the maker. It's not a cute panda since the bear model makes it look fierce, but it is black and white.

If you do add the panda as a new animal cage option, it should give you more gold than a regular animal cage since people pay lots to see pandas!

I donno, seems like the doviello would be the least likely of the civs (except maybe the elves) to cage wild animals.
