excellent mod, one of the best ever made for civ 3 for sure.

Is there any spanish transalte out there ?? Or is english language the only supported ?

I had some early gripes which I found to be utter nonsense after more looking into things myslef. So Thanks again for your work put forth in this mod its amazing.

Have noticed a couple of things as the Egyptians:

Ahouty Archer: No rate of fire
Pharaoh's Bowman (upgrade for Ahouty): No bombard/No rate of fire

I was wondering why my bowmen were not firing defensively when I was attacked...now I know. Someone forgot to give the poor bastards bowstrings!
 
I must say, what a masterpiece this mod is!

Started a random game today... was given the Huns to lead to glory.
Boy, haven't had this much fun playing civ in a long time! These hun horsemen are the ultimate fighting machines: 2 attack, 3 moves and blitz - in Anno Incepti, there's nothing that can stand in their way.

I started out in the far NW corner of one of two large continents, and by now (~1100BC), I have almost purged the entire continent from any "neighbors": Hyksos, Egypt and Persia were defeated and the Nabataeans are confined to a handful of tundra cities in the far SE corner. Very soon, I will be master of an entire continent, all thanks to maybe 10 hun horsemen.

Need I say that I have founded only 3 cities, the remaining cities (~15) were all conquests... and there's still alot of barbarian lands to be taken.

The huns rock! And playing them feels very much like what the stereotype of a "hun" is... aggressive, hit-and-run and very effective.
 
Today I found as Norway when you get the tech thats suppose to let you irrigate without the need for fresh water near by, it won't work ( I know its flagged properly. I checked.)

I think we talked about this not working when trying to get elephant riders to also be able clear jungles before all the other nations workers could. Same sorta thing ain't it?

WAIt! can't just leave off with some negative jive. :)
Ya Otherwise, so far right on man Im lovin it! Specially those AI vs AI war efforts. They sure arn't sleepy civs this bunch.

That's strange, as it works for me. There have been a couple of times with the terrain that I haven't realised that the square is on the edge of a forest and tried to irrigate, only to realise I needed to chop down the trees first.

Oh so I just need to clear the trees thats roots are holding in the water so it can flow through to my feilds for benifit of my crops? Jeez thanks Rob can't believe I missed that. I never stop being amazed how deep this game goes (like the roots of them trees I need to pull out like weeds) ;)
 
Update: I, Attila, am the supreme master of my continent, which shall henceforth be known as Attilia. ;)

I am now concentrating my efforts on researching seagoing vessels and building up a formidable expeditionary force. My soothsayers tell me that there's land beyond the Great Eastern Ocean...

UPDATE: Was custum player data suppose to be flagged? cuz mybe thats the reason for I have mine unflagged at the moment

SAdly Ive come to see another example of things not being the way they should. My Normans don't have an extra movement point at sea. So I solved this one Myself. .

UPDATE : Oh boy how drawn out can you get. OK turns out I do have a seafaring advantage so Yes, back to my original observation , something is wrong there.
 
OK looks like I solved the problem..for REAL this time :D . Ya Im thinkin it might of have had a lil something to do with that fact I never researched the freakin tech in the first place!! :eek: :cringe: :blush:

OH please forgive me great moddin gods for I have raised a unholy rucus over jack squat :(
 
hey rob. im having some problems downloading/opening the mod. firstly, the first two d/l links in the first post are the same (the 274mb and the v1.03 patch). im confuzzled as to which one i should download.
and then when i went to the atomicgamer site, there were two files - scenarios (274mb) and expansion (78mb). i downloaded just scenarios first, and tried opening the mod, and then i downloaded expansion as well, replaced the old .biq file in the classic with the new .biq file in the expansion, and in both cases i got a 'missing entry in text/pediaicons.txt/hunting_lodge' error. when i tried to d/l the v1.07 patch, it said that the archive had reached an unexpected end???

please help! i really want to play this mod - looks awesome.

Since the upload, 3ddownloads changed to atomicgamer, hence the links being the same. Firstly, download the 274MB file and get that up and running on your pc. Next, download the 78.4MB file (the expansion, which is v1.03) and transfer the files into the same folder as the 274MB file, allowing files to overwrite. Finally, you need to download the v1.07 patch and do the same thing, which overwrites some files as well. Actually, I didn't read your post correctly and realised these are the steps you've taken!

I don't know why there's a problem downloading the patch, I just tried it and it worked fine. Have you tried downloading it again?
 
two problems are occurring:

firstly the missing entry in pediaicons of ICON_BLDG_Hunting Lodge is still coming up, even though it seems to be there in the pediaicons file.

secondly the 1.07 patch doesnt install properly. theres a corrupt file (eastern swordsman attackb or something like that). :confused:
 
Try downloading again, that happens every once in a while.
