I'm cracking on with my leaderhead conversions. So far, I've finalised 23 leaderheads and there's a further 18 that are Firaxis animated leaderheads. By and large, they're staying as the people they are in the game; the most drastic changes are that I'm using Isabella as Theodora of Byzantium and Ghengis Khan as Attila the Hun. I guess you want to check out the new artwork, so I've attached it to this post.
We now need to start thinking about unique units, leader traits and unique buildings. The aggressive, charismatic, creative, expansive, financial, imperialistic, organised, protective, philosophical and spiritual traits will work more or less how they do in the epic game; there will be agricultural (+1 food in tile that already gives 3 food), builder (works like epic game industrious), industrious (faster workers) and seafaring (ship bonus + extra trade route). The thing to decide now is who gets what in terms of traits, unique buildings and unique units. For the purposes of this thread, you can only talk in general terms about the buildings and units as you've not seen a tech tree yet! However, you'll know that, for example, the Spartans will probably need a strong hoplite as their UU and an advanced form of barracks for their building. With respect to traits, there's 91 combinations of the 14 traits if there's to be two given to each leader (which is what I'd like). There's more traits than leaders at the moment, so I want to ensure that no combinations are duplicated.
