Annoying menu bug.

Anytime I click the Menu button in the lower left corner, it pops up and disappears within a second. I've tried rebooting, using a system restore, closing background processes, fiddling with the in-game preferences, using compatibility settings, reinstalling, using an external mouse...

Any ideas? It's the GOG version, so I've got all the official patches. Vista.

That's a strange problem. You mentioned using an external mouse. Is your system a laptop with a touchpad, or some similar pointing device? If so, try disabling the touchpad (or other device) in hardware while using the external mouse (if you haven't already done so). Please post again if that's no help.

And never mind, apparently the motherboard battery came loose (holding clip was broken in the past). It's fine now.
