Antarctic Anarchy - a Civ 5 Anarchy Game

It may be early, but hell, since we're Spanish we should definitely go ahead, buy a Settler with that 500 gold we just got, and settle next to that Natural Wonder!

After declaring war on the first Civ you meet (as per previous instruction), gift any civ you meet after that 5 gold.

Now that the forums are finally open again I'm just posting to say that since the forums went down I'll extend my timer once again until Monday 11AM UTC.

Time left for orders: [TIMER=08/03/2015 11:00 UTC;Orders locked][/TIMER]

Attack Ragusa with the warrior

The citizens of Anarquía watched the wheat fields on the other side of the hill with envy. "What if we could have that land? We would have so much food!" is a legendary quote said to have been spoken by Elder Cepe Eme Cuatromiluno. Then they threw 50 gold coins in the field and it was theirs.

In the year 3560 the Spanish knew how to do pottery. They knew it so well that they decided to temporarily abandon their Monument and build a Shrine instead while they kept researching the secrets of Sailing to learn how to cross the great ocean. Far off in the west, Spanish warriors met the city-state of Kuala Lumpur.

Spoiler :

The Spanish Archers had left Ragusa and gone east, where they found more ancient ruins. In these, 55 gold coins had been left by their former inhabitants. The city of Anarquía was booming since they had "bought" the wheat fields and a band of citizens were paid 500 gold coins to leave and settle a new settlement of the Spanish Tribe.

In the year 3360 the band of Warriors, who were on their way east to Ragusa, encountered a band of Swedish warriors. They were lead by a red-haired man with a long beard and the Spanish decided to declare war on him and his people right there on the spot. The Spanish and Swedish tribes were at war!

Spoiler :
2015-08-03_00005.jpg
The settlers who had left Anarquía arrived at the foot of the Grand Mesa where they had been instructed to settle down. Here they founded the city of Madrid. They had orders from home that more Warriors were needed to protect the tribe and training began immediately.

Back in Anarquía the Shrine was finished and the villagers had just begun to start working on the Monument again when they saw them - Swedes in the field! Swedes in the field! Fortunately, they were easily driven away with a few arrows.

Spoiler :
2015-08-03_00006.jpg
When the Swedes had finally disappeared from the wheat fields, Anarquía could finish its monument and start training a new band of Scouts to explore the world. They also adopted a policy of citizenship and a band of Workers was recruited and sent out to build a farm in the wheat fields.

In the east, the Spanish Archer explored further into the continent's icy inner lands. While the course had been set straight east, filthy Barbarians had forced them to go northeast instead. And in the northeast they found lands of another people... it was the land of the Swedes.

2015-08-03_00007.jpg
The Spanish warriors finally reached Ragusa and could now complete their mission: to attack the city and then leave for the unexplored lands of the north. The mission went well and they survived the attack.

Spoiler :
2015-08-03_00009.jpg
Madrid had some problems with Barbarians, because what the Settlers hadn't known was that they had settled right next to a barbarian encampment.

Adopt Representation when you can next adopt a social policy.

Be extremely friendly to any civilisations that have a female ruler, defending them from aggressive actors if necessary.

Conquer Ragusa within the next 20 turns.

Actually, scratch what I said earlier. Stay at war with Sweden! In fact, following up what Melda said, declare war and be aggressive towards all male leaders we encounter!

Chivalry gone bad!

Alright, orders locked and enough of them to work with. Looks like an interesting (and aggressive) future lies ahead for Spain...

3000 BC (turn 25)
With the research of Sailing some years back, the Spanish had learned how to fish and so they started to build a boat to go out on the seas and fish.

This was also the year the Swedish Tribe sent a peace offer in which the Spanish people should pay themm gold. How dare they? Never will we accept that!

2920 BC (turn 27)
The workers of Anarquía finally finished building their wheat farm but then they found that there was nothing more they could do. They didn't know how to mine. They didn't know how to build plantations. They didn't know how to build pastures. They didn't know how to cut down trees. They didn't know how to clear marshes. So they went into the forest to rest their legs until there was something they could do.

2880 BC (turn 28)
News from Sweden tell us that Gustavus Adolphus has taken on the title Chief of the Swedish Chiefdom. The population of Anarquía grows, and in Madrid one band of warriors finish training and in anticipation of the upcoming war with Ragusa they start training one more.

2840-2760 BC (turn 29-31)
The new band of Warriors in Madrid goes to attack the Barbarian encampment east of Madrid who have been an annoyance ever since the city was settled.
Spoiler :
2015-08-10_00003.jpg
The Spanish Archers far north-east are heading back to Spain to aid in the Ragusan war since they are the only soldiers who can attack at range. On their way back they meet the city-states of Prague and Valletta not far from Stockholm.
Spoiler :
2015-08-10_00005.jpg
The recently trained Scout is taking over the northern Warrior's mission to explore north, so that the Warrior can help attacking Ragusa - we need all the people we can get.

2680 BC (turn 33)
The population of Madrid grows but the plan to mine the Grand Mesa didn't work out - they didn't have food enough to feed them all! Instead, the new citizens had to take care of some sheeps which brought in barely enough food for them all to survive but no more than that. They would need a Granary or knowledge of Animal Husbandry before the city can grow, and the Mesa be properly worked.
Spoiler :
2015-08-10_00007.jpg
In the shrine in Anarquía, Spanish priests have seen the light and declare that the Spanish people shall live as One with Nature and that great natural wonders such as the Grand Mesa are to be worshipped as gods.

2640 BC (turn 34)
The work boat is done in Anarquía and they too start training a new band of Warriors. Up north, the Scout reaches as far north you can go from Spain, now they will have to head either west or east.
Spoiler :
2015-08-10_00009.jpg
In the snowy lands between Sweden and Spain, our Archer on its way back home meets a band of warriors who bring word from their leader Eldress Wu Zetian of the Chinese Tribe. We greet them in peace and wish for a long and prosperous friendship with the Chinese people.
Spoiler :
2015-08-10_00010.jpg
A policy of Representation is adopted aswell, turning the Spanish Tribe into a Spanish Republic, and we enter a Golden Age.

2600 BC (turn 35)
The fishing boats reach their destination west of the Anarquía peninsula and start their operation, and it is now time for a new meeting where all of Spain decide what the Republic's next moves are. An invasion of Ragusa is planned for the near future, and Optics research is nearing completion.
